It's getting hated on, but I think it's a massive improvement. If you look at the old and new side-by-side you can get a better glimpse at just how much better this one is.
Are they going to make teal and gold more prominent on the uniforms? Seems kind of strange to have the logo feature those colors while the uniforms are heavy on black.
The new wordmark (which isn't displayed here) is excellent, IMO.

Looks a little "Arena Football-ish" but meh it will probably grow on me once I see them in action on the helmets, and unis. Could have done a lot worse...

Agree with the Arena football sentiment, also looks more "feminine" to me.
First time I saw the shield it reminded me of the Lamborghini logo:

I like the old one better. I didn't really see very much wrong with it.

I love it. It is a huge improvement over the old one and they needed a change to stir some excitement in the fan base.
Seeing them side by side and up close, they both suck. Old one looks like a doofus, but I never noticed until I studied it just now.
The new one looks meaner, at least in the eyes. It looks weird on a white background is the problem.
I get they have to incorporate the teal into it, but a teal nose, eyes, and tongue? Goofy. And that tongue is so noticeable now.
My conclusion, thinking about this way too hard. I couldn't ever be a true uniform/logo snob.

Don't like it. It would be better if they didn't make the face as wide and got rid of those stupid ears.
Nike has ruined the logo and now they are also going ruin the uniform that Reebok already screwed up.
Nike is making all black uniform the primary one, it is being released this year.
Hopefully Lamborghini sues the Jags and forces them to change it. The Jags would then be the only team to be sued twice by a car maker for copying their logos.

I will say this: that shield logo is tight! If I'm the Jags, I'm using the secondary logo as the primary one. That shield would look great on a jersey, as well as the midfield logo...

Yeah, I love the shield. Hated the logo when I saw it earlier, but it has grown on me already. Still need to see it on a helmet though.
