Forza Motorsport 5 Car Pass Costs $49.99, LaFerrari Car Pack Available at Launch

The Forza Motorsport 5 car pass was announced last week. Today, Microsoft has released more information, including pricing.

	Each Forza Motorsport Car Pack will include ten individual cars, with the first pack arriving on Friday, November 22, and subsequent packs available the first week of every month, beginning January through March 2014. Fans of specific makes and models may choose to purchase individual cars, a la carte, while devout fans may opt for the Forza Motorsport 5 Car Pass. The Forza Motorsport 5 Car Pass is for the racing fan looking for the ultimate driving experience, and gives full access to the first six Forza Motorsport 5 Car Packs for $49.99, at a savings of 18% versus purchasing individually.

The first car pack (LaFerrari Car Pack) will be available at launch, on November 22nd. More details coming soon.

I'm paying 80$ for the Special Edition and that's enough for me...not even going to worry about this Car Pass...these companies with these Pass Crap are crazy...getting sick of it.

Maybe I am reading this wrong and I have read this several times but from what I've seeing, that is 10 cars per month. Not $49 for 5 cars

It's the same model the BF4 and COD have been using the past few years.its all the cars not 5. Not defending Xbox one or Forza, just hoping to add clarity.

For the $50 you get 6 packs over a bunch of months. Each pack will have 10 cars.

So that's 60 extra cars for $50.

That was the same things for Forza 4... Nothing new.

Forza has become a money grab for turn 10. I have no problem with them making money but with Forza 4 they would release a car pack and if you wanted the best couple cars in the pack you could not buy them individually, you had to buy the whole pack. I'm not getting Forza 5, I hope they don't screw you guys like this again.
