Browsing Twitter this morning, I saw a crazy image showing off a hardcore racing setup. But, it pales in comparison to the one [Icy] just posted in the comments section of this post. I can't even begin to think about how much that setup costs.

YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH! Anything with hydraulics and motion mods trump mine, though. Mine is built for comfort!

I'll have to get some newer shots of mine. Last shot I had was a poor quality video from my phone of my son giving the Indycars a try on iRacing last year. Once I get the new rig setup, I'll have to get some new info. Here's what it looks like - Triple 40" monitors that surround you about 165 degrees when you sit down. Your peripheral vision is completely taken up by the track view. However, since it's a camera phone and the TVs are at angles, the left screen seems to be washed out and the perspective is a bit wonky. Not to mention wobbly. But when you sit down in front of it, it is perfect :

Now, once my new rig comes in in a couple weeks, those are going to be attached to

This is what it looked like before, but I've since moved the monitors into a configuration where I can sit on a comfy couch with a killer wheelstand I bought last year:

Once I get everything all reconfigured on the new PC, I'll take something that looks a little better. Not that anybody cares...that's why I've never taken anything newer to start with

And to think all I did was modified a stationary exercise bike frame and clamped a wheel to it.

@TCrouch ... is that a sprint car gif for your profile icon ?

# 11 TCrouch @ 02/19/14 06:40 PM
Yep! Family used to run sprints up and down California, from Ventura to San Jose into Hanford, Oildale, all over the valley.

That's very mature - did you come up with that all by yourself?

TCouch, that is so cool and as Steve said, your son would smoke me also. After 3 laps I would already be a lap behind. Impressive setup and your PC is a beast. Fantastic video cards.

TCrouch. That is awesome. Would love a set up like that. Love the 3 screens together to make one big one.
