They gave D Angelo Russell a 77 wow. He sure didn't play like a 77 overall during summer league. I guess. He's like 3 points away from 80 wtf.

A lot of his blown passes were because his teammates were too slow picking up what was happening. Also, according to the scouts interviewed there from outside teams, he possess an ability to see the floor that very few, past or present have.

I'm not claiming he is the next Magic Johnson but if he keeps true to the work ethic and passion he has exhibited so far, he will be a solid franchise PG for a long time.

I seriously don't see him as a franchise pg. He lacks in departments like athletism and playmaking skills to match with the elite pgs in the leauge down the road. He may be good at setting up his teammates, and have court vision, but so are other pgs. Nothing about his game says franchise pg to me at all.

Totally not true on always been a bad defender. He was actually pretty solid his MVP year and the year after . It was after injuries he's been sub par with flashes here and there

Players like Russell and Tyus Jones (obviously Russell is much better) don't look great when they don't have good teammates to play with. I'm not saying teammates make them look better than they actually are, but just their styles aren't the Randy Foye type to dominate a Summer League and make everyone overreact.
