NBA Live 17 News Post

NBA Live 17 will feature courts from the Drew League, Goodman League and Dyckman, according to an official post from The George Goodman League website.

Quote:
The closet thing the League has seen with video game appearance was when Goodman League MVP, Hugh Jones aka Baby Shaq, was featured in And-1 Streetball video game in 2006. No notable players will be used in the game, only courts. The Drew League and Dyckman are also to be used as playable courts.

NBA Live 16 featured Pro-Am courts from the Hoop Dome, Seattle Pacific University, Brooklyn Park, Kezar Pavilion, Rucker Park, Venice Beach, Terminal 23 and Margaret Hie Ding Lin Park.

No official word on any other courts being added to NBA Live 17. Last June, EA Sports revealed Russell Westbrook as the cover athlete for NBA Live 16, so we will probably hear more about the game around that time this year.

Great New for the PLAY NOW guys, BAD News for the Users who are wanting an In-Depth Franchise Mode & Customization.

My worry is as usual, meshing it all together for release always ends up causing things to be left out due to Coding issues.

I hope you are right buddy but as we have talked so many times, it seems LIVE is trying to gain back Users with MORE Gimics and I just dont see it working. Hoping to be proved wrong with Live 17 release.

I honestly dont believe it will EVER happen with NBA Live. At least with the Current DEV team. Seems Long term Replay value and Full game immersion is Not in their plans. When we are in Year 3 of the game relaunch and you still cant make Trades, you just have to shake your head.

I still post hoping for change but I know with 99.9% certainty that things arent going to change.

Hope life is treating you well buddy.

If they don't allow the Pro Am courts (and casual clothing) to regular Tip-Off/Quick games again then they are clueless and simply adding to the list of easy fixes and features to improve their game.

If there isn't customization with the game, and a lot of it, I'll officially be done. If franchise isn't vastly improved, I'll be done.

I know I said this about '16, but there's NO WAY they don't have customization in Live '17......right? lol

This would be one of those things that would make me consider buying the game this year. Sometimes I just want to run a solo or local multiplayer game and it would be great if we could use these courts offline.

I would actually prefer something similar to Blacktop, we choose 1v1 - 5v5 and select our team. This could also make use of legends outside of LUT.

I'm hoping this year's slogan for EA and the NBA Live franchise is "All or nothing" meaning they bring everything they have with this years edition of the franchise.
