One Man Per Division League

°League Premise-To run a fast advancing league with a small number of users-1 user team per division max. Limited user scheduling should allow us to advance every 48 hours or less. I want to operate a league that actually runs 5-8 seasons so that I can better experience long term building via the draft, FA's, and XP.

Week 2 vs Raiders

Week 2, with adjusted sliders, brought the Raiders to town and a much, much better game. Carson Palmer went 19-28 for 252 yards but was sacked 4 times and was out played by Ryan Tannehill (14-20 214 yards sacked twice, 1 TD 1 INT) in terms of controlling the ball. Steve Slaton was the real star with 150 yards on 33 carries and a TD vs Darren McFaddens mere 54 yards on 20 carries (1 TD).

All I can say is....TEDIOUS. It takes me over an hour to set up settings, a new coach, sliders, depth chart, etc. I'm so bored at the end of this that I just turn the box off and don't play.

Background...I'm old enough to have bought and played Madden '92 and, like most players then, I regularly scored 100+ points, did laps around the field with mindless defenders in hot pursuit, and exploited every AI glitch I found. I viewed the CPU as stupid and played the for no other reason that to abuse it for a few months per year and then I'd be done. Then came Madden '99 on the PC.
