I would love, of course, suggestions about specific tweaks as while I might not ever run this game again (though I could), it still helps me gain a better feel. I am hearing pretty loudly some frustration from the villagers and want to try and figure out how much was/is luck and how much was imbalance, so it doesn't happen again.
I think the biggest thing in this game was that the items were in place to really let one side or the other run away with things like crazy. If the villagers had gotten lucky with protects/scans the game could have ended day 2 easily. Vice versa the way we got lucky it helped us just run away with things. I would say something to cap the number of conversions would probably have helped. Perhaps not reintroduce the fake necklace or real necklace once it was used would have been a start.
In this game I dont know that killing GE instead of converting him would have made a huge difference though, but I also think the number of double kills probably was a bit high too. I don't really think the game was bad, I had fun and thought it was entertaining. I think its just a case of a couple of tweaks here or there.
we're the cool kids cause we're wolves ;)
Yeah, I know.

Excellent game, Barkeep. I agree with those who say things were a little bit too easy for the wolves, but I think everybody actually had fun even so.
I'll agree with that. I had fun, despite growing tired of Alan's constant accusations. I know as a wolf he had to do that, and that's fine...I've talked with him outside the lines with that.
I'm just disappointed that later I find out it's like a bad smurfs episode. All they had to do was bite us on the tail and we were done for. They might as well sought out the ones with "protection" the way it sounds. 50/50 shot or so that they get one to their side. Just rinse and repeat, you could have a whole village of wolves in no time.

I think perhaps with the number of conversion possibilities there were in this game that the next incarnation should require a 2-1 wolf to villager ratio for the win.

Good game, wolves.
Night 2 - Pass and I both had wolf scanners. Did I tip my hand that I had the item earlier in the day? I tried to sound like I was coaching someone else on how to play, as opposed to sounding like I had that item.
Wow, I didn't realize that until just now. That sounds like tremendous luck on the part of the wolves - I certainly didn't suspect that.

Yeah, on night 2 the wolves made out liks bandits. Hoops and I both scanned ardent, only to die immediately after. Plus I had the silver knife. A lot of it was moot since someone did an identity switch with ardent that night anyway, making a scan of him pretty much worthless.

I think it was GoldenEagle that id switched with ardent. I thought at the time that was a really bizarre move.
