If Cowher was smart he would play-action.

That call is not a big deal, in my mind. It was close enough that it could have gone either way, and I think Cowher goes for it on 4th and 1 inch, and there's probably a 75 chance they make it. Not a big deal even if it's a wrong call, which I don't know for sure that it is.

Thoughts so far...
The Star Spangles Banner was THE worst I have ever heard
Agree with all the calls bar Jerramy Stevens no-catch: should have been a fumble, and maybe one other - not sure of the rules in this case: if the pylon is the goalline, on DJack's OB catch at the end I thought he got his left foot in and hit the pylon with his right knee, although his foot then carried on OB - nobody made any noise, so I assume knee+pylon is OB
How is Randle El walking let alone playing after that hit?
Seahawks have been the better team, but are makong dumb mistakes at bad times
Mike Holmgren got his 2 minute offense playcalling from FOF ;)
Every time I see Hines Ward, he reminds me more and more of Benny from Top Cat!
The game's simmering so far rather than boiling - intriguing rather than stunning

I dunno. I've said it before, but there isn't any doubt who the better team on the field was that half. They play the same exact way in the second half without the mistakes, Pittsburgh will lose the game.
If the Steelers make adjustments and come out better, the Hawks will be in trouble.
The thing Seattle has to be frightened of is that everything is going Pitt's way in terms of the officiating and the breaks. Hell, even the Stevens non "fumble" was a break for the Steelers. They got the spots, they got the penalty decisions, they got the close calls. Every single one of them. Sometimes the team of destiny crap applies.

Ok just stopped in at halftime (Stones suck). Seattle looks good, but the scoreboard wins the game. They gotta stop the bad-timing penalties and oversome a couple questionable calls and put some points on the board. Pittsburgh hasn't really stopped them, they've stopped themselves. And to be fair, it sure looked like Stevens fumbled early in the game. Not that a 14 point swing doesn't affect the game. D-Jack's TD overturned was bs, and it sure didn't look like the ball crossed on Ben's TD (but it was VERY close and could have gone either way).

I know this is probably a minority opinion, but while I accept that the Beatles did more to change music, the Stones' songs hold up better today...
You sir, are insane. I'm filling a committment immediately!
I "discovered" the Beatles when I was 18 and they hooked me. I brought every one of their CD's, albums, whatever I could get my hands on. Their music holds up MUCH better in my opinion. I'm willing to bet that they will hook my son (should I have one) in 20-30 years. I don't think the Rolling Stones will do that.

That is exactly what the NFL was hoping for!

Don't get me wrong, I love the Beatles too - but when I listen to them they sound more dated to me. Still great, but more obviously from years before my time.

Wow. You must have a small circle of music you listen too. Or else you listen to the media a lot. The Stones used to be great (like 30 years ago), but they are old and tired now. It's all nostalgia.
