I knew Brad Ausmus went to Dartmouth and then when I went to check it out, I found a few more including one of the best ever
Former Princeton two-sport standout, Chris Young, has been elected to the 2007 National League All-Star Team — becoming just the sixth Ivy Leaguer ever to be named. The first five were Lou Gehrig (Columbia, N.Y. Yankees, 1933-39); Red Rolfe (Dartmouth, N.Y. Yankees, 1937-40); Ron Darling (Yale, N.Y. Mets, 1985); Brad Ausmus (Dartmouth, Detroit, 1999); and Mike Remlinger (Dartmouth, Atlanta, 2002). |
