FOFC Buffalo Meet and Greet??? (March 19)

Ok, so the financee and I are going to the Sabres/Lightning game on March 19th. I know the idea of a Buffalo meet and greet has been floated out there and a couple people said it'd be good to do around a Sabres game. Since I finally found out what game we are going to I thought I'd throw this out there.

I went to school out there so I'm familiar with the area. Doesn't nescessarily have to be at the Sabres game tho it could. We could do something at the Galleria or somehwere else too...

I'll check with Telle, but I think we'd be up for meeting either for the game if we can find tickets or perhaps before or after for food/drinks. We'll let you know!!
(we live literally like 3 minutes from the Gallaria Mall....)

Yeah we are totally up for meeting up before or after. It certainly doesn't have to be at the game itself.

For us, it doesn't matter. We can meet whereever. We usually stop at the Main St Delta Sonic for a snack on the way to park (we park in the same lot every time about 2 blocks up from the Aud.) and since I am a store supervisor now at Delta I'll def be stopping in to look around quick before the game. I'm familiar with the area so as long as it's not obscure I'm not worried about finding where to go

I would love to make it. However, I'll likely be out-of-town that week. Hopefully the re-match is as exciting as last week's game.

Thats fine, what area are you most comfortable in? We're in Cheektowaga, near the city line, so we're convenient to everything. What kind of dinner you interested in? We've got a number of favorite places and there are always the chain restaraunts available along Walden ave.

As for Cradle Robbing, well I'll just keep my mouth shut =)

I'm familiar with Cheektowaga, anything over there is probably fine with us as I just had to go to the Walden Delta Sonic for a meeting last week and I used to work at the Galleria Wegmans back in the day. I was quite pleased to find out that there was a Mighty right next door A Rochester DM had to stop there for food to bring back to a supervisor as well heh.

I don't remember what restaurants are over there but I know there's a ton.

We are probably going to the Walden Delta Sonic during the day to get stuff done on the car and say hi to people. No really set time but we plan on being there around noon-ish so anytime after that we will be in the area.

Ok, just to get this out there:

All you folks that couldn;t make the game or just meeting up? Y'ALL SUCK =)

We had a really awesome time with Chubby and his Banker Had dinner before the game and met up again right after a freaking AWESOME 7-4 comeback Sabres victory for some drinks at the Pearl Street bar n Grill.

The game was rockin, the company was excellent and you all missed out. So you suck =)

I can definitely say we're up for doing this again sometime, perhaps for a Bills game in the fall?

Yeah that was a lot of fun. Sucks to be everyone that missed an awesome game. Down 4-1 after two and Sabres score 6 in the 3rd.

We should def do something for a Bills game. Maybe a sunday will be easier for people to make it. Tailgate before the game and all, we'll have to pick the right game so we don't watch the Bills get hammered

Man, that was quite the game I missed! Never would have thought I'd miss fireworks like that at a Tampa game! Oh well.

Hopefully I'll be able to join you guys next time you get together.
