st. cronin: NOT DEAD

At least not his email account. I heard from him this morning. He tells me he's not dead, so I have to go with that.

That explains so much, the 3 or 4 things I typed up in word months ago to post I felt like it was me, but since as soon as I sign on here I feel like someone else is typing.

So you're telling us you were the last person to talk to him before he died? That is suspicious...

Its true that I'm not dead. My activities have been diminished by a life-threatening illness. Thankfully, my medical people are optimistic that I will recover completely.

Life threatening sounds serious. I'm guessing this is somewhat worse than that time that I had diarrhea for two days and went around telling people I had Cholera.

Get better.

Oh and if your update was sarcastic in nature...we really need an appropriate emoticon.

Raise your hand if you didn't realize cronin had a life threatening illness before you joked that he might be dead.

Raises hand.

Wow, I figured you were taking a vacation or spending an inordinate amount of time at the poker tables. Had no idea that something like this was the reason you weren't around.

Very good news to hear that you are on the road to recovery.

Dear cronin,

Here's what you missed: Your post count has vanished.

Buwahahaha.

I would expect Cronin feels that post count/day would be the preferred status symbol. I think by that measure he is the most prolific poster in all of FOFC (minimum 1,000 posts?).

I just thought this was a parody thread. With all the other dead/alive threads I never checked it out. Sorry to hear you had a health issue but glad to hear that there is a positive outlook (I did read that right and there is a positive outlook?).
