When?
Will the ringing go away?
I am getting old!!! Just came back from a concert (first one in several years) and wow are my ears ringing. Had a great time at least. Halestorm - Never saw them before and they freaking rock. The singer is hot and she can sing. The drummer is freaking amazing. Chevelle - sucked Shinedown - Very good, they needed to play longer though. Staind - Good, by then we were tired and needed to get away from the mosh pit area so we watched that from the back. |

I saw Muse a couple of years ago and during a guitar solo near the end of the concert he hit this high note and I could feel it just kill my eardrum. It was ringing for about a week afterwards just because of that one note.

I had started to when I was used to go to concerts but I incorrectly thought this wasn't going to be as loud since it was a small outdoor venue. Boy was I wrong. Sitting through meetings this morning has been hell as the ears are still ringing away. |

I've never understood why they insist on utterly blasting people's ears. The collective ear damage this country incurs from concerts would probably be pretty staggering if there was a good way to measure it.

I agree. I like it loud but make it loud without being painful. I don't understand the desire to make it that extreme. |
