Tennessee should be an interesting match up. They're kind of a middle of the pack team, so it should be a challenge but I think they should be beatable too. Will be interesting.

We finish with a 21-15 win after converting a key 4th down late to help us finish running out the clock. We should have won more comfortably, but turned it over a couple times deep in Tenn territory. It was rough, but we got the W.

We advanced after I left for vacation so I know I have to play when I get home still. I will be home tomorrow and will try to get my game done then.

I got my game in with Frederick finally... sheesh it was brutal. We started out competitive, but our first drive ended with a fumble that shattered our QB's confidence. He then became wild and was throwing it all over the place resulting in 3 interceptions, only 1 of which was a bad read by me. The other 2, he threw it about 10 yards behind receivers and DB's got to it. Added to that, our WR, Humphrey, had butter fingers and dropped 7 balls this game. It was far too much for us to overcome as our defense could not stop Frederick's passing game. We lose 41-0.

We managed zero points in three trips to the red zone, and the Tigers shut us out 24-0. Tough game.

Julio and Orlando destroyed us as my QB got a cause of the I can't do squat and our WR's had a major cause of the dropsies.
It's all good, I know where I need to shore up even more now.

Without those drops Macros guys had it would have been a much tighter game. I was being fooled by coverages all game long, thinking I had guys coming open only to throw into a sudden crowd.. But the run game was working really well and that was what really kept us moving. I felt like our overall defense was pretty good for the most part, especially against the run.. Those drops made em look a lot better than they were though.

I tried repeatedly this morning and am again now... Xbox Live is having some service issues but only limited services listed. Looking to make sure everything else is ok... Edit: looks like live is down. Only issue I can see as all of my settings are the same from when I played my game in the ladder yesterday.

I looked at the rosters and thought we had a good chance against Navy. However, they ran the ball right down our throat early. We had no answer for their triple option rushing and they threw the ball 5 of 5 on PA passes and other misdirection plays. Suddenly, we were down 14-0 and in trouble.
We managed to get our first TD but they answered right away to make it 21-7. We weren't stopping their run or passing game. I knew I had to make an adjustment so I started selling out to stop the run with 8 or 9 men in the box... That didn't work too well as they scored again after we fumbled a kickoff. Down 28-7, things looked bleak. We managed to score a TD before the half though and then we got the ball to start the 2nd half. Our offense started really clicking and we moved it down the field without problem. Down 28-21 at the end of 3, but we still needed a stop. Fortunately, we shut down 2 running plays and forced a punt. Our offense moved it down the field to make it 28-28 with 4 minutes to go. We looked like we were in trouble as they passed it down the field but on 3rd and 5 on our 30, their QB caved under pressure and threw a horrible pass right to our DB! We methodically moved the ball down the field and with 13 seconds left, we scored the winning rushing TD! 35-28 win for us in a thrilling game.

If you are in a battle for a player, and will fall past the "stay in battle" limit, will your visit still count. Can you climb back into the battle after you fall out without using a lock pick?

If you are lower than the "stay in battle" limit, you are in danger of getting locked out but you could still climb back in with a good visit assuming they don't lock you out first. Once, they cut the list and lock you out, the only way you can get back in is using a lock pick. |

We handed Tucker a 41-17 loss. It felt good as we controlled their offense almost most of the game. Their defense was a little tough to get through but I had them on their heels most of the game.
It was a well played game by all facets of my team and my backup QB tore them up.

Yeah, I was shocked. I lost my starting QB last game and was looking at my backups going...how am I going to win this, I went in and set my adjustments for the game which I think worked well. I went with a pure ball control type game, and when I did try to push it, I was punished for it. So I kept it pretty much under control.

Blew a 21-7 lead in Orlando, let them tie things up and send it to overtime. We scored a TD on our first possession in OT, and got the game-winning interception to seal the deal. Good game, Julio. I was gonna be unhappy if I lost again by throwing an interception in the endzone while trying to make it 28-14 in the fourth. It was looking like the Ladder championship game all over again there for a bit. Glad we were able to steal a win on the road.

Our third down defense was making my head hurt, but I felt like it was a good hard fought contest. Felt like our DBs just didn't react to things when they had chances to, only that pick in the end zone. It was a close one but you definitely outplayed me. We'll meet again, and I plan to get revenge then with my killer recruiting class

I think I came in with a good strategy this time around, and since we were all on equal footing it paid off. The good thing about 2 star recruits is the CPU generally stays out of things until later, so you can fill a class well if you just get lucky and find guys that the other humans don't jump on right away.
