Agreed. I don't mind Wendy's, but I can count on one hand the number of times I've eaten at a Wendy's/Arbys/McD/Taco Bell, etc., in the past 2 years.

Well, ironic given my post above, but thanks to my dog bite adventure, we ended.up.going to Wendy's for dinner and we got both thin mint Frosty variants. Good, not great. The way they do it is the cookies are crushed and part of a chocolate syrup they put on the inside of the cup. It wasn't as minty as I expected, and too much of it was left on the inside of the cup. The syrup also had a gritty texture because of the cookies.

Wife brought one back. Agree that it could have a stronger taste and the gritty cookie.

I'm now exploring the World of Coke. In the Lab area, they allow you to taste the "New" Coke that failed in the 80's, and another test drink that might come out in the future. The "New" Coke has that almost flat flavor that I remember. The test drink is pink and has a bubble gum flavor. Not that original, but not terrible.

Beverly still is nasty. Romanian Sprite is also pretty awful. Most of the Fantas from around the world are good, except for China, which tastes like BBQ sauce. I am now jittery because I haven't had that much sugar in a while.

Ah Beverly ... it's the coke experience (World Of or WDW version) of telling someone that wasabi is very mild so use a lot lol

Takes little effort to watch & see someone do "the Beverly dance of horror"

Nope. Both are connected by Centennial park in Downtown Town Atlanta along with the Georgia Aquarium and the Center for Civil and Human Rights. My wife is doing classes for her work at the World Congress Center, so we had a free hotel room at the Omni. I am taking advantage to be a tourist for the day.

Other tips: Twin Smoker has good shredded pork, but the brisket is average. The greens are really good, and so is the pimento dip.

okay I tried the orange cream coke zero and I think it is 100% totally unnecessary. It was cool but not ice cold. I think if it were ice cold I would enjoy it much more. It DID taste like orange creamsicle sure and it did taste like coke zero too sure. But I think it would be a dessert thing for me in the same way i would eat ice cream.

Yeah I don't think i'd do it again really. But at least it didn't make me want to spit it out and gag.

I tried this yesterday too. I thought it was basically Vanilla Coke.

We've finished the orange cream coke zero 12-pack but it was a struggle to pick it over the other stuff we had like Dr. Pepper Strawberry & Creme, Blackberry, Coke Zero Vanilla etc.

It didn't taste "strong enough" so probably go back to it once in a long while.

Right now, my regulars are (in no particular order)
  1. Coke Zero
  2. Cherry Coke Zero
  3. Dr. Pepper Zero
  4. A&W Root Beer Zero

2nd tier and because I need more caffeine free options ...
  1. Dr. Pepper Strawberry & Creme Zero
  2. Fanta Orange Zero

I think the vanilla maybe overpowers the orange? I like it and I'll continue to buy it (until they cancel it like Spice). It's been several years since the original Orange, so I can't remember the flavor versus the new one.

Blackberry DP is definitely a winner. I find myself drinking less of the Strawberry even though I like it because it's too sweet by comparison. I've also found myself drinking a lot of 7Up Shirley Temple since it's caffeine free.

I got some Strawberry's and Cream Dr Pepper Zero and must say this is a miss. Altho again it wasn't ice cold. Worse than the orange coke really. Gotta try it again. I seriously would have gotten the Blackberry instead if it was there.

Yeah Dr Pepper Zero regular and Diet Dr Pepper are my gotos. After that is Dt Mt Dew

Cherry Coke Zero is a winner too

I would add Blackberry DPZ as a regular drink but it's a little hard to find. And also have to find it while there are good sales (buy 2 get 3 free)

Sprite Chill is confirmed to be a permanent addition and was Coke's most successful new add last year.

Wendy's is introducing Frosty Swirls and Frosty Fusions. I think Fusions will be similar to what they're doing with Thin Mint (adding a sauce) while Swirls might be similar to a Blizzard/Concrete Mixer-type mix-in.

Sounds like 7Up is following Sprite with a summery new flavor - Endless Summern supposed to be a mix of strawberry and watermelon flavor. Supposed to be released April 7 and only in Kroger-owned stores, according to the article I read.

This is not a new flavor but does anyone else get Green River or is it exclusively a Chicago thing?

It used to be somewhat available in Portland (in a specialty corner of our version of Kroger), but I haven't seen it in years.

Will brought home a Fuji Apple one that was better than anything I've had domestically basically EVER. Almost certainly the best flavor capture I've ever encountered.

The lemon Kit-Kats here aren't on that level. They're good but not unique.

I've been anticipating trying the Fuji Apple and Lemon on my trip. Unfortunately, I've been to 2 Asian countries (not Japan) and neither of them had them.

I grew up with the Green River man. Was my favorite drink at my dad's restaurant.

Can still find it in odd places. I grew up 2 hours from chicago tho. Now I'm in cincy so not that far.

I unknowingly tried the new PB&J M&Ms. My MIL gave me 2 to try and asked me to guess what they were. I could only come up with some kind of berry M&M, as aside from the chocolate, that was all I tasted. I did not get much PB flavor at all. It was OK.

Still put the holiday spice and strawberry cream M&Ms way at the top of the list.

Tried the 7Up Endless Summer. Good not great. A solid addition for refreshing flavor choices for summer. It's strawberry/watermelon.

It sounds familiar but I don't think I've ever seen it in a store. But also, if there's no Zero version, I'm not interested.

That's basically the joke I was going for in my post -- although I actually did buy another bottle of this stuff a few days ago. So maybe it will catch on with me. It's not a very strong taste, which makes it not as weird as it seems.

Hmm, I may need to try that if I see it, as it is we have coconut flavored K-pods.

The two stores I go to are hit and miss with creamer flavors; Food Lion has a more limited selection, Weis has more but still doesn't seem to cover everything. Or maybe it's the transient nature of some of the flavors -- there was a Chocolate Covered Strawberry from International Delight a bit ago that my wife and I liked but I haven't seen it recently ("LOVE IS BLIND" theme along with Wedding Cake).

I'm guessing that the creamer might have come out around Valentine's Day, so it may be gone. I was looking at Instacart and they were showing it at Target and Kroger's if you have access to those stores.

Ah, thanks. No on Kroger's, not worth a trip to Target just for that. (V-Day makes sense, though wedding cake seems like it would be natural for May/June to me).

Eh, she doesn't drink nearly as much of the stuff as I do, it doesn't play too well with her stomach. (I have specifically gotten the cold foam stuff for her though for when she does make coffee at home. I have brought home countless iced sugar bomb "coffee" drinks from Dunkin, McD's, Wawa though...)

I'll give a fairly good mark to the new (limited time) Caramel Crunch Vanilla Frosty Fusion from Wendy's.

The caramel is present but not overpowering, the toffee bits are maybe 10-20 percent too far forward in the taste but that could vary from one assembly to the next I imagine.

The thing that makes this work, I think, is that it's blended well (unlike, say, the often barely mixed shakes at Cookout). The taste is pretty consistent throughout even on a large.

Good enough that I'll probably give the brownie batter version a try if I get around to it before these go away
