Speaking of Bucees though, I'll mention that I think a low key top item in all their food is the simple turkey sandwich in their cold case. Everybody raves about the brisket, the pork, etc but for solid simple food while traveling (especially for the driver) that's a really consistently good sandwich imo.

Pair it with the hosuemade chips (which I love) or even quite a few of their knockoff standard bagged chips/snacks, it's a win.

I went with the brisket because everyone kept saying I had to try it. I wish we had gas stations like that in the Midwest.

I had to Google to even see what the top chain(s) up that way is. I gather Casey's is not doing food at the same tier. Looks similar to Sheetz but with a smaller menu.

What in the name of cream filled sandwich cookies ...

Quote:
The flavor of the Selena Gomez Oreo is a sweet and spiced combination, inspired by her love for horchata. These limited edition cookies feature chocolate cinnamon wafers and double-stuffed filling, with one layer of condensed milk flavored creme and another layer of cinnamon sugar.

Outside of some stops catered toward truckers, Kwik Trip is probably the closest (and that's still really far off from Buc-ees and other big gas station stores).

Sheetz is my east coast go-to although Wawa isn't bad either. Always thought the hype around Buc-ees was silly until I finally experienced it and totally get it. Convenience stores have no business putting out that kind of quality.

They're real, and they're spectacular.

Coca-Cola Has 6 New Flavors Available for a Limited Time

I love Coke, and I love new flavors of things, but are we at a point where it feels like "whatever, just shoot the sugary fizzy liquid in my mouth and I don't even care what it is"

This one had me curious for a while. Even after staring at the picture, I couldn't shake the idea that it was a coke with olives in it

I tried them. They taste like regular Oreos but with maybe a hint of cinnamon. Maybe it's been awhile for me with Oreos but I really don't taste a difference in these.

I didn't imagine her to taste like cinnamon......I am not going to talk about how often I think about what she tastes like.

I mean, it's not gonna be as big as the Kpop fap subreddit, but there's a community about to be born out of this.

CFA has a peach frosted lemonade. Not as good as the Key Lime pie version but still good. Has small chunks of peach.

My son ordered some peach soju at the Korean BBQ place the other day, and that was some of the best stuff I ever tasted. I don't even particularly like peach flavored drinks, but that was fantastic.

Do not attempt to eat these! Just stay away! May sound good on paper but the end result is just bad!

How does that differ from a standard pizza roll?

Looks like it's just a difference in fillings.

Reminds me of when Pillsbury expanded the Toaster Strudel line to have a Toaster Scramble variety.

I loved the Toaster Scramblers but my local Krogers no longer carries them!

It's been awhile but isn't sausage and cheese a standard filling on their pizza rolls?

I like the idea of it, but maybe if they added some egg to it it would be better.

That'd be different sausage tho (pork vs faux italian)

Just tried Dr. Pepper Cherry Zero.

It's okay, the Cherry taste could be a touch stronger. I'll finish the 12-pack but it's further back in the queue.

My top 3 that I regularly rotate are:
  • Coke Zero
  • Dr. Pepper Zero
  • A&W Root Beer Zero

That's not new, it's just the packaging that's new.

Wife was telling me about these. Pic says back by popular demand, but I don't remember it from before. Not sure if I'll like it but will give it a try.

Any Detroit peeps out there had this yet?

Whenever I have Vernors, I often mix it with milk, so this seems up my alley. I haven't seen it around here, though.

A&W Ice Cream Sundae Zero soda. Best way to describe it is same as their Creme soda but with a hint of cherry and vanilla (?). I wish it had the stronger chocolate/strawberry/vanilla taste.

I thought I posted that one, but maybe not. I only saw it available with zero sugar at the Jewel near me, so I passed.

Yeah it's been posted about before but I didn't think it came in Zero. I haven't seen it anywhere anyway.

Well, Kroger finally got the zero sugar A&W Ice Cream Sundae. I bought a 12 pack. I didn't get any hints of cherry and vanilla, just chocolate. My wife did not like it, but she's not usually a fan of any of the flavored pops. I like it enough to drink the 12 pack. Not sure how often I'll buy it though.
