3-0 Plague at the end of the 1st quarter, but Chesapeake is readying a FG attempt.

What a game! Looked like N. Plainfield had given it away there a couple of times.

It was an amazing game.

I wasn't feeling too confident down the stretch. Both the INT (in the endzone) and the fumble on the ensuing punt return seemed to give them the break they needed. Luckily our defense held them while our offense disappeared.

Again, Congrats to Quik on an outstanding season and a well-played game.

Agreed on all counts - great final game, a suitable end to a pretty exciting season. We had various people trying to do league rankings, and we had quite a lot of movement at the top of them through the season. North Plainfield was consistently one of the very top teams all year, fought through a tough division, and in the end they won the big one. Great season, corey!

And to think, we were 1-2 in scoring this year.

Ok I had absolutely no interest in FOF MP.

I'm now sold!

Just had a blast reading through the threads on the bowl. Adds whole new levels of enjoyment.

The IHOF has got a new fan now!

Yeah the IHOF is a ton of fun, and the best part - the rookie draft - is coming up soon!

Yeah, I'm definitely going to have to look for one to join now, looks like a blast..definitely a great way to get to know your players better. I usually fly through years like nothing, think this'd be a fun change of pace.

Awesome setup over there at IHOF, so whoever did that, VPI97? Great work.

Time to start looking for a league with openings..none of this real player crap either!

I'm telling you that multi-player FOF is sooooooooOOOOOOOO much fun!

This is my first year in the HFL and it's been nothing short of a BLAST! The guys over there have done a marvelous job and I really mean it when I say I'm having fun. (too bad I lost my first game of the season)

I came in right at the draft, so opening day was quite exhilerating for me. Good thing 3ric's viewer is around.

Settles will play out the remainder of his career in infamy. I really found it extrodinary that he was actually from Oklahoma City (where the title game was played). Great work by whoever dug that up.

He also wears an unusual shirt size. Sleeve is a fairly normal 35", but he takes a 4" neck, which is awfully tough to find.

The Chesapeake supply staff had fits with this guy. We have, however, told them that they can hold off for just now on next year's SETTLES jerseys...

Mills only had 4 sacks in the regular season, too. He must have just had an exceptional macthup this game.

I haven't checked, but I'm pretty sure that was our pass rush performance of the year.

Social commentary: I find interesting that everyone agrees that this was a great and exciting game, however if the real Super Bowl happened this way, most of you would probably be saying what a boring, horrible and/or sloppy game it was.

Just an observation. Maybe some of you have a bigger appriciation for great defensive battles now.

Back on topic, I thought it was great. 3.5 sacks is great, even if one happened on a hail mary try. Great game cthomer and QS.
