The longer this lasts the less permanent damage I do to my vision by tuning in to the Baylor game. Lets get this thing into OT!

Yeah, those two are probably not in the "by far" category.

I might be a little biased too .

I'd say I'll be cheering for them in the next game but I don't want to be murdered by Hoosier fans here.

So did I. But, honestly, that's not that uncommon. Then again, this year things have been mostly playing to seed. It's going to be that douchey guy in sales bragging about how awesome his perfect bracket is because he picked one 12-5 upset ("I thought VCU looked good last year" "That's interesting logic since I don't think last year's team is playing" "I meant this year's") and gets the Iowa State-UConn game correct.

I'm not really familiar with WVU this year but I'd say Gonzaga shot the ball well and they really just made WVU look slow. They were getting deflections on defense that would lead to uncontested layups. I don't watch a ton of Gonzaga games either but that was probably the best I've seen them play in a while.

Gonzaga jumped on WVU, hit a bunch of 3s and WVU's offense collapsed quickly once they got down. They're really young and the offense has gone ice cold in pressure situations repeatedly this year, blown a bunch of late leads, etc.

This was the first time I'd seen them, so I'm not really sure how good Gonzaga is. I will say that I was definitely surprised that they outrebounded WVU in the first half.

Baylor's probably going to win this one as they just have too much length and SDSU has no height

Iowa State cannot miss! 65% from the field so far including 6/10 3s and they are up 34-14 on UConn. WOW

My "out of nowhere" upset pick for tomorrow is Ohio U over Michigan. I just don't quite trust Michigan, and I know nothing about the Bobcats team, so that seems like a nice formula for an upset that I would usually overlook.

I picked them, too. I *think* I heard this week that Michigan sucks at defending the 3 and Ohio loves to shoot the 3. So, I picked them.

Looks like Iowa State is going to finishing the comfortable win against UConn. They got it down to 6 at one point but after that, the Cyclones pulled away. Two Big XII #8 seeds with wins today along with Baylor. Kansas, Mizzou, and Texas tomorrow.

Defensively I think they are rather solid but it is in part that they play a slower paced game. Their biggest issue is lack of talent and size in the front court. Their front court is all moxy and hustle. The closest thing they have to warm bodies are 6'9" and 6'8". They have been known to have Novak, who is 6'4", play PF due to lack of depth. Horford(6'10") wasn't great, but they had high hopes for him and then he got injured. Oh, to say Michigan can't rebound is putting it mildly. 311th in the country.

The "x" factor will be what it has been all year. Does Hardaway Jr. show up for two halves? Him getting 2 in the first and 12 in the 2nd is a cliche at this point. Michigan is streaky with it's shooting. You get them on a off night and you have very good odds of winning. If they get rolling, few will beat them including MSU and OSU.

He has a very innovative coaching style, one where he breaks the season down into a series of 28 day cycles.

Man, that loss hurt. When we went down by 20 I thought sure we were toast.. then to come back and make it a 2 point game, only to fall short at the end.

Damned hard way to end the season. Still, no complaints at all with Rice's first year. Can't wait to see what we do my last year in Vegas next season.

I´ve seen them a couple times and they definitely have been a pretty good team all year. Didn´t have many good wins, but of their 6 losses 2 were to St Mary´s (who imo can make some noise, very good team as well), 1 at BYU and 1 at Michigan State.

Their starting backcourt is awfully young but also really talented and Harris and Sacre are really among the better 4/5 pairings around.

They are 13th in the nation in reb% (WVU and Gonzaga both at 54.7%) btw, so it wasn´t that suprising. They are also a really efficient offensive team, Top25 in offensive efficiency, shooting the ball well and getting to the line (where they sometimes struggle though).

My upset picks yesterday were NMSU over Indiana and SDSU over Baylor. That worked out well.

Oh, and thanks for nothing, Wichita State. One Sweet 16 team down for me.
