Very, very underrated individual posters at FOFC
Albionmoonlight's thread got me thinking. Who are, in your mind, some of the most underrated individuals/historical posters at FOFC? I don't want to set too many limits on this, but I also don't want it to devolve into "the first guy to put colossal and squid together" or a list of your top 25 Hattrick players.
I submit Queue. Yes, he's only had 3 posts since 2004. But they were damn good posts! I can honestly say I would wait in line for Queue's posts. Last edited by Kodos : 09-22-2009 at 04:06 PM. |

Bubba Wheels gets a lot of hits for the way he posted and may have become infamous for it, but I think his actual place in history is the Maximum Football thread. All else is forgiven.
Flasch and flere will also be inextricably tied in the BF/RM/GF thread that launched flere's MS-Paint career.

I don't have a list of top 25 hattrick players, but if I did I'd have to include sterlingice, dataking, raven hawk, targetpractice6, billy (?), -apoc-, brxnivy, and even coffee warlord. Honorable mention goes to me, since I managed the National Team rather ineffectively.

Yeah, Sean cracks me up. And I think because his humor is so dry and not over-the-top, a lot of people don't give him his due.

I'll probably get grief over this, but I'll say MBBF. Reminds me of the guy in your group of friends that everyone makes fun of, but if you needed to do something he'd be the first to volunteer. (Well, at least 78.65% of the time)

Dola.
One of my personal favorites - revrew. He presents his faith in such an intelligent, non-aggressive way, that I've never seen anyone be aggressive or insulting toward him, even atheists.

SportsDino seems to be the only poster on here who I actually learn something from when it comes to his understanding and method of communicating finance and economics.
And I'm a big fan of Radii...not sure why, just seems like a good dude. |

I do enjoy Radii's posts. During my short time in the online league, I really liked how kcchief and eaglesfan27 discussed things.
In general, the board is very underrated. I may read way more then I ever post, but I visit probably once a day because of the interesting discussions/links/humor. Last edited by ColtCrazy : 09-22-2009 at 05:11 PM. |

Definitely have to agree here about SportsDino. Gotta 2nd or 3rd Maple Leafs- tho, I think he's highly regarded by most. I also am a big fan of kcchief19 and don't think he gets his due. You know, there are way too many to list and I'd definitely forget some. SI

I'd second the votes for revrew and SportsDino for the reasons already described.
Beyond that, it's hard to say. I'd 'have to think some more and I just woke up.

Not sure, but if it gets any longer one or two Kleenex isn't going to be enough. Probably going to need the whole box.

BYU 13 - Cool dude.
Kodos - I typically don't have an issue with him and if I remember correctly he might have been the only person I PM'd to apologize for my dumb comments. DaddyTorgo - Cool dude. I am not a fan of him trying to change my mind on certain things but even for a Pats fan I don't mind him at all. Shorty - Where ever he is... I am sure I am missing a few more...

Other people that like horse racing. Quicksand likes horse racing but I think everyone knows him. And everyone knows pumpy. And I would have to say most know cartman. Is there a list of people that are well known so it would makes things easier?

A lot of the people who are getting their names posted in this thread are far from underrated. I think most would agree that they are top shelf FOFC posters.

My main problem with this thread is the word "individual" in the title. If there are posting teams I want in. I have a logo ready and everything.

This is like getting a blow job by a wife you've been married to for a decade....it's nice, but it doesn't really thrill me like it used to.
