I've only spent maybe 45 minutes on it total in the past couple of days, but I don't think I like it yet. I don't like the available camera angles, the announcer's voice is tinny, the colors are all washed out, and besides the dunk contest, I don't really see anything new. Maybe it's just because I haven't played this series in several months, but I'm finding the game a little difficult to control. How the hell do you do a trick counter? I can't remember at all.
Maybe after winning a couple of games and upgrading my team, I might feel like I have a better handle on things. Right now, it just seems like I'm spinning my wheels. I'm going to keep trying, but I haven't gotten that "wow factor" that I got from Vol.2.

I was sort of afraid this might be the case. I'm glad I've held off on buying this to read some reviews on here. |

Is anybody playing this? I just bought it. Very "arcadey" obviously, but a lot of fun!!! I do have played also NFL Street 2 though, which is very enjoyable.

I pretty much stopped playing it after my post in this thread three months ago. It's not a bad game, but MVP Baseball 2005 came out a couple of weeks later, and I started playing that instead. I've had no motivation to get back to NBA Street Vol.3 at all. I'm sure I'll play it again someday, but I got burned out on it really quickly the first time I tried to play it.

I rented it a couple weeks ago and spent around 6 hours with it. It was fun, but like Pumpy said I got burned out pretty fast. Good rental though.
