Rank the NCAA Football Violators!
Who are the worst violators over the last 5 year or so in your opinion?

Have a list we can start from? I mean, short of just taking the Top 25 list of both football and basketball and going from there

Sure, the big football violators are easy. But what about some "forgotten" fun like Memphis having to vacate the 2008 NCAA title game because someone took Derrick Rose's SAT for him? Or how Bobby Bowden never caught Paterno because they had to vacate two season's worth of wins?
Actually, I was trying to Google "NCAA vacated wins" and I can't find someone who has compiled the information. That would make for some interesting reading. SI

Or Auburn getting a pass because they paid the parents. Or Mississippi State trying to pay parents but not offering enough.

The University of North Carolina has decided that its football program will vacate 16 wins from the 2008 and '09 seasons, as part of self-imposed sanctions in the wake of a scandal involving improper benefits that has rocked the program.
The school made its decision known on Monday, in response to the NCAA's original notice of allegations surrounding the discovery of the illegal activity. North Carolina will also cut three scholarships for each of the next three academic years, and will pay a $50,000 fine, but will not impose a postseason ban. "We have acknowledged our violations, and we've responded in the way you would expect of this University," said UNC chancellor Holden Thorp. "We think that the sanctions we have proposed accept responsibility and, at the same time, give our current and future student-athletes and coaches every opportunity for success. We go before the NCAA Committee on Infractions on October 28, and that will be another important milestone." |

I think the UNC scandal has not gotten enough national attention and that they rank up there or worse than alot of the scandals that have gotten most of the publicity.

Miami, Ohio State, and UNC are all in nearly the same boat. The Auburn / Miss State stuff is a hint of the exact same things going on. They all look like the tip of the iceberg at what's going on across so many of these schools.
