What should be the new name for the Washington Redskins?

Let's brainstorm new names for Washington.

Senators?

New logo can be a picture of a big fat white guy in a suit carrying a pair of briefcases with money coming out.

Washington Indians - apparently that's ok, and you can keep the logo!

I'm guessing, after the appeal process runs its course, he'll try the "Washington Skins." Idea being that we really need to decide if any team logo or mark that in any way references Native Americans is offensive. And we'll just have to leave PETA out of this discussion.

I just renamed them the Warriors in one of my FOF dynasties in the 202s due to political pressure.

Nope. Washington Sentinels. Movie studio should hopefully still have the prop uniforms, and they can bring Keanu in to back up RG3.

There was some mention of Washington Bravehearts being trademarked.

I'm going to start being offended by my ancestry being turned into a football team logo now so I can be ahead of the game.

Keep the name, change the logo to a potato.

Done and done.

it should be a very easy change. not only in name, but they have 2 alternate old logos that are AWESOME (the r with the tail, and the arrow with the tail).

The answer is not in changing the name, but the logo...

If I were Snyder, I'd drop Washington from my name too and call my team the Maryland Don't Tread on Me's.....

Hell, if I were Snyder and didn't own the stadium in Landover, I'd probably look into relocating the team to L.A.

It's going to be something stupid like the "Washington Power".

Obviously you should combine a name that combines the respect of the forefathers of this great nation while still paying tribute to the current redskins nickname.

I've been calling them the Foreskins for years. No need to change that.

It's not like Washington teams haven't changed their names before as the times changed (remember the Bullets?). So presenting your...Washington Squaws!

But seriously, I'd go with the Washington Redtails. The Tuskegee Airmen connotation makes it easily adoptable and the logo possibilities are pretty neat.
