Favorite Spin-off of a TV show

I recently found Frasier on one of the off shoot CBS stations I get on our antenna.
What a great show. I had forgotten it was a spin-off from Cheers, which I loved.

This is a great show. Really well done, with a great cast of characters.

What are your favorite spin-offs?

Yes and yes.
Technically, you can even call Happy Days a spin-off. It was developed from an episode of Love, American Style.

Love, American Style
Quote:
On February 25, 1972, the show aired an episode with a segment titled "Love and the Television Set", a story about Richie Cunningham, his family, and friends. The premise and characters would later be used for the television series Happy Days, and the episode would later be recognized as a de facto pilot for the series (it had originally been produced as a pilot for New Family in Town, which had not been picked up). For syndication, the segment was retitled "Love and the Happy Days".[1] Happy Days, in turn, launched an extensive franchise of spinoffs into the 1980s.

But for realsies, Frasier. It's one of the best sitcoms ever, let alone spinoff.

Frasier was such a perfect comedy. It's like Monty python's arguing sketch stretched out to perfection.

I did like Mork & Mindy back in the day. I was the perfect age for its silliness then.

Benson too even tho admittedly it wasn't the strongest thing I liked watching it.

Agree with Fraiser being the best answer here.

Better Call Saul is another good answer, but I might have recency bias.

I always liked Fraiser. In ways, I thought it was better than Cheers.

A few others I liked:

A Different World (The Cosby Show)
The Jeffersons (All in the Family)
The Facts of Life (Diff'rent Strokes)
Mork and Mindy, Laverne and Shirley (Happy Days)
NCIS (Jag)
Benson (Soap)

The only original show I didn't watch was Jag.
