Retail game freezes...just like demo

Same problem...nice fix EA.

I have read that its a hard drive issue or internet cable...blah blah.

I have had my 360 since day 1. Never had any problem playing any game before. Never had to pull out a hard drive or yank cables. Never.

This is inexcusable. EA knew about the problem with the Demo...actually acknowledged it...and did nothing to fix the retail.

Stinks about losing the custom music...but I am going to exchange for PS3 version....unless anyone has a fix?

Have you tried clearing your cache? I never had a lockup on the demo.

Exact same problem here. I even cleared the cache and did the steps EA said to do for the demo. The game only works without the HD. Nice work EA

The community manager says its less and .05% so i question whether they'll bother to patch it anytime soon if at all. I am going to see if gamestop will let me switch to the ps3 version.

I dont understand how that works. are .05% of the disks broken? is .05% some type of random number thrown out there to seem as minimal as possible? I have the game unopened waiting till I get home to play it but im already getting concerned, I didnt know of any freezing issues prior to now.

There were issues with the Demo too. I couldnt play the demo on the 360 if my HD was in. EA thinks its a online issue but it isnt. It has to do with the HD.

It works without the HD so its not the disc but how the game interacts with the HD. And for that matter- Gamestop basically told me to go F myself. I can only exchange the game for the same 360 version.

I have same issue with my 120 gig hdd. Works fine on my 20 gig.

I called bill gates after talking to ea and they are going to replace my hdd free of charge.
Point is, call Microsoft and tell them the issue. Make sure you tell them it works without the hdd. Also, save yourself some time and tell them you

good thing I read this thread before buying it for 360. I really wanted the custom music but I just left gamestop with the ps3 version

Just got back from my friends place he is also having the freeze problem, we resolved it by unplugging the ethernet cable. Really a shame on EA because i had the same problem with the Demo a month ago. Hopefully a patch is out within the next few weeks.

U guys think it would be smart to return my unopened ps3 version and just get the 360 version and hope for a fix?? Is it happening to a majority of people?
