Very excited about this year's Kentucky team. Frederick and Reeve on the floor together is just a dangerous duo. Add Wallace's playmaking and shooting ability, and you are putting defenses into a pick-your-poison situation.

Onyenso is raw, but he took advantage of the playing time made available with the injury to Oscar and Collins missing the game due to the death of his father. He has the ability to be the first true rim protector we've had since Nick Richards.

Its a young team playing guys that haven't played many minutes together. Going to be growing pains. Louisville played bad the first half, played better the 2nd half, but couldn't hit the key shot, or get the key stop to steal the victory.

One thing that cannot happen going forward is Curry can't not have a field goal attempt the entire game and Ellis can't shoot 11 three pointers per game, especially when they are one on one settle shots.

Louisville is going to struggle this year and take some losses that you wouldn't expect a program like UofL to take, but that's the reality of the situation. This team will be better come conference play than they are now.

Watched the last 7 minutes. Louisville was down double digits and almost came back. Pretty cool seeing Bellarmine win.

I think Payne will build a good program there in time. But it's gonna be painful for little while.
