Congrats uconn fans. 5 titles since 99. That's blueblood status.

Aztecs simply not landing their shots in this game, as well as free-throws. It seemed every miss was countered by a three on the backend by UConn. You could replay that game again and SDSU could've won by 7.

The problem was they started taking shots when down at one point that they weren't used to taking, and it clearly affected their rhythm.

Anyway, they seemed outsized and outmatched. Congrats, UConn.

UConn was the best team in the tournament by far. It looks like their swoon in the middle of the season was more of an outlier than anything. They finish number 1 in KenPom.

Gotta love Brian Dutcher. He's always upbeat and was just happy to be there. Pretty incredible SD St even made it there. They just ran into a buzzsaw at the end.

                    Domination.

Far and away the most stressful 2nd half of the tournament and it was that they cut the lead to 5.

Very special team, the sanago/clingan combo was incredible in terms of talent and just how they hurt you in different ways. Andre Jackson such a unique player with his athleticism, defense and playmaking. And then they surrounded all those guys with loads of shooting.

Gonna enjoy this for awhile. Next years recruiting class is great, but it’s so tough to build a team like this where everything fits so well.

Shocked they even made it this far in tourney with the way Bradley had been playing. Even still, a season to be proud of for SDSU.

In the end, they played "scared" for too long as if they were afraid of the paint, afraid to be physical, afraid of Sonoku, afraid to get fouled, afraid to get into foul trouble...etc.

You usually only get one shot at this opportunity (Final Four) as a student athlete so you can't leave anything behind or have any regrets. These kids will always look back on tonite's game and wonder what could have happened if they had just been "themselves," attacked the paint no matter the cost and played physical D inside regardless of the refs for 40 minutes.

Clingan looks like a guy who should transfer to Purdue

edit: I said that as a joke but checked Purdue's roster and sure enough, they already have a redshirting 7'2" guy on the team, it never ends lol

Phenomenal run by UConn. A six-game masterclass.

One of the most dominant title runs I've seen on the men's side in....yeah, I don't know since when.
