Y’all think it’s a lot of empty seats up in the nosebleeds considering the matchups?

Fau blew it. Some really bad officiating but they had a real good chance to win.

UConn is playing good defense, but Miami is also just missing a lot of shots they have no business missing. Would like to at least lose giving UConn our best shot, but that's not happening right now.

It’s not supposed to look this easy. What a run we’re on.
One more to go

It looked like they played butler pretty soft, especially at the last 3 seconds. If they press him, who knows...Australian Rules Football...just sayin'Comment

Re: 2023 Running Commentary of Every Game in March Madness Thread
One of the more memorable women's championship games for sure, but mostly for the wrong reasons. There are 3 main things I'll remember:
Horrible officiating. Phantom fouls on everyone early, putting many stars and starters in foul trouble, ruining the whole game really. They were consistently bad for both teams, but it still ruined the game. The technical on Clark for throwing the ball behind her without saying a word is just plain disgraceful. They seemed overly concerned about "getting control" of the game by calling excessive fouls, but then Mulkey was practically on the court with the defense half the game. At one point the ref basically has to physically move her back to the sideline and she looked like she basically pushed the ref while she was running toward the other end of the court to get off her. But Clark was out of line...The explanation after the game was worse, something about "delaying the game" by throwing the ball without looking. Hopefully they enjoyed their camera time, doubt they'll ever get it again.
On a semi-positive note, I'll remember how emotional Mulkey got about it and how much it meant to her. She cried when she won her first at Baylor, but nothing like this.
But third, the whole Angel Reese thing. Trying to say that it was personal toward Clark because the way Clark played defense against South Carolina was 'disrespectful'. LOL, that's one of the all-time dumbest explanations I've ever heard for anything. It's Clark's fault that the Iowa coaches' gameplan against people who can't shoot from the outside was to play off them and dare them to shoot from the outside if they wanted to? To me, Reese just comes across as classless, petty and jealous or obsessed with the attention Clark gets. Clark's a bit of a trash-talker too I understand, but at no point in the game did I notice Clark doing it so aggressively to her or anyone on LSU. I know she did the same Cena thing during an earlier game, but it didn't look like it was directly in anyone's face who's right in front of her, at least not nearly as much as it was in this case. I just don't buy the whole explanation for why it was so personal. It went well beyond your normal trash talk that goes on in every game. I know Reese's go-to thing is always to make it about race, but that doesn't seem to be a factor in it to me. Her taunting merely felt excessive.Comment
