I love this section! Ready to see some Moose action. I dont think im going to start a serious career mode since 10 hours is limiting and granted it will keep your saves when you get the actual game, I dont know if slider adjustments will be needed and how accurate rosters are. I will probably start a liverpool manager mode as soon as I feel the rosters are sufficient and sliders are presented that makes this the best fifa!

a post on reddit has given me a lot of hope for this years MM. there is no may update to kill physical growth, and, players are growing in physicals. you can, if you scout well and have a good enough scout/luck combo get a player from scout to superstar at young age. which is nice.Comment

confirmed from reddit: you can train youth players in the academy. so if you want to ignore your players on your team and just build for the future, fill your boots.

"It seems like a mixed bag. Some players just won't grow in that area which is disappointing but could also be argued as realistic. I think what happened before is the May update messed with progression a ton. If you signed players before their first May last year they still had a chance to grow. EA seems to have eliminated that by aligning YA players to a normal progression model with incremental upgrades throughout the year. I would say my best guess is there is a similar progression model to last year, but the May update (bug?) has been fixed so all at least have the chance to grow."

I am that poster on Reddit. I'll answer questions if anyone has them. Last year I did similar impressions here during the access period instead but the community over there is a bit bigger now.
I was very encouraged by what I saw. Some legacy problems but it seems like they corrected most of what was causing problems. I think, as much as it was cool to see such a big jump, the May update caused most physical growth problems. I don't think all players will grow physically now, same as before if you signed Pre-may but you can keep them in your academy to grow longer before bringing them into the first team.
Btw, Strikers were the position I saw with the best speed from the start. CB's had the best all around physicals.Comment

Are the #1 goalkeepers starting the majority of games or are you guys seeing the backups playing too much again this year? Just wondering if they changed the stamina any.#LFC

I've started a Chelsea MM but after 3 summer tournament games might restart in a week or so. Loftus-Cheek is currently rated 63 which I think is pretty low and should be somewhere around a 70. So debating whether to continue and develop him or wait for EA to give him a little boost.Comment
