Cruzz (is it okay to call you that?), I'm extremely impressed by your writing skills. I loved every word of this post and I felt like I was reading a combination of Ibrahimovic's and Sir Alex's books. I'm really looking forward to this career and I would love it if you wrote every update like this.

I just have to ask, how old is Thomas right now?

@Cruzerr: That was a really amazing introduction! I love the way you got Wenger out of the way! I think the way you stamped your authority before most of the team had even realized you were their new manager really set up your character for the career! Looking forward to the next post!

Ah okay. In that case, congratulations on qualifying! Looking forward to seeing how you do in Europe. Fenerbahce will most likely be the team to beat, but I remember Molde giving me tough matches in 14 with Wimbledon. I don't know much about Reid so can't say anything there. Good luck!

FIFA 15 | Season 1 | 2014/15

The Toffees

January Fixtures

Match 23

Hull 2-1 Everton

EVRTN - Jagielka 48'
HULL - Jelavic 26' PEN , Sagbo 45'

MOTM: Howard

Injury: Stones - sprained ankle, out 3 weeks

A poor start to the month after such a good December. THis defeat brought us back down to earth, and we would've lost by more if it hadn't been for Howard who was in excellent form.

Match 24

Everton 3-2 Reading

EVRTN - Eto'o 23' , Coleman 52' , Lukaku 71'
RDNG - Taylor 45' , Guthrie 67'

MOTM: McCleary

An average performance meant we barely scraped through, but it's times like those when the character of the team is shown and we managed to pull together to get through to the next round.

Match 25

Everton 2-1 West Brom

EVRTN - Mirallas 10' , Besic 49'
WBA - Morrison 89'

MOTM: Howard

Yet another average performance that we somehow managed to grab all 3 points. Howard yet again saved us, along with poor West Brom finishing. It's not been a good month performance wise so far.

Match 26

Everton 2-2 Manchester City

EVRTN - Lukaku 11' , Besic 48'
City - Aguero 45' , Jovetic 81'

MOTM: Howard

A good all round performance against the champions. We had to ride our luck again but once again our saviour came in the shape of Tim Howard.

Match 27

Wigan 0-2 Everton

EVRTN - Atsu 8' , Barkley 58'
WGN - Perch sent off 81'

MOTM: McCarthy

Finally a clean sheet!! Our first excellent performance in January came in the last game of the month, and we continue our cup run! C'mon The Toffees!!!

Transfers

Transfers In

Fabian Schar €7,500,000 from FC Basel
Cheick Tiote €9,000,000 from Newcastle Utd

Transfers Out
Leon Osman €2,600,000 to UD Almeria
Francisco Junior (Season Loan) to Exeter City
Antolin Alcaraz €1,100,000 to West Ham
Matthew Pennington (Season Loan) to Oxford Utd
Shane Duffy (pre contract) to Brighton

January Player Of The Month: Tim Howard

In a month where few performed to their best ability, Howard manged to rescue us from some tough situations. If he hadn't of been between the sticks, we would've certainly lost more than 1 match this month.

Sorry about the wait! Thanks for reading! Any feedback is appreciated!

You're still rocking the Afro! Hahaha YES! I like the career so far man. Arsenal was a good choice but I also like how your update style is still very similar to the player career. Looking forward to the future updates!

Would it be safe to assume Coquelin will not be with the squad for long? :0

If you're not and you end up losing 2 or 3 games, it doesn't matter because you have a 19 point difference! Lol you can just bring it back down and everything will go back to normal. Just a suggestion. I really like how you include the player that made the assist when listing goals. It's a great idea never thought of doing that. I would try it out myself, with your permission first of course, but I don't think it would look good on mine because of the way I list the goal scorers. Keep it up though!
I'm playing on legendary so can't really up the difficulty I guess i could mess with the sliders but I like the gameplay the way it is so I am not really sure about what I'm going to do...

Thanks! Yes of course! Go ahead

Re: How's Your FIFA 14 Career Mode Going?

Dagenham '17-18 Season
End of the Season Update

League Match 30
Chelsea - Dagenham (0-1)
Reyna 36'

Recap: The showdown between the top two teams in the BPL went to the Daggers who have now beaten Chelsea in both matchups this season. Reyna is starting to get hot after finishing March strong. We outshot Chelsea 6-2, 5-1 on goal.

League Match 31
Aston Vila - Dagenham (2-1)
Clark 36'
Sylla 42'
Reyna 83'

Recap: If we ever have to face Andrea Consigli ever again it'll be two times too many. UNREAL that in a game we outshot the opponent 15-6, 13-2 on goal, they scored on their only 2 shots on target while Consigli gobbled up 13 saves (THIRTEEN!) to rightfully finish as the MOTM with a near perfect rating of 9.8. Disgusting. But as luck would have it, they're actually our next opponent in the F.A. Cup ...

F.A. Cup, Semi Finals (at Wembley Stadium)
Aston Villa - Dagenham
Spoiler

Spoiler

League Match 32
Dagenham - Newcastle Utd (1-0)
Nimely 45'

Recap: A game that was a bit easier than the score indicates (we outshot Newcastle 10-2, 9-1 on goal) against a team that will see again for the last time this season in the F.A. Cup final.

League Match 33
Tottenham - Dagenham (3-1)
Chadli 27'
Sarr 39'
Lamela 56'
Chadli 70'

Recap: Gareth Bale was deadly on point all game long and we clearly don't match up well with the Spurs. Bale assisted on the first two goals and made the Spurs' dagger happened as well when his rocket shot from the right bounced off Leali and towards a wide open Chadli who put the ball at the back of the net. Chelsea, on the other hand, does not let down and is starting to run away with the league title.

MAY
League Match 34
Dagenham - Manchester City (1-0)
Wilkinson 83'

Recap: Early in the season we outplayed these guys thoroughly but lost 0-1. This time around we performed the same way but came away victorious thanks to a clutch header from our best defender. Man City only was able to get off ONE shot, which wasn't even on goal, while we took 15 shots (8 of them on target).

League Match 35
Dagenham - QPR (2-3)
Reyna 28'
Ings 33'
Hoilett 55' (P)
Wilkinson 82'
Hoilett 90' (P)

Recap: Welp, that's probably it for our league title hopes after a crushing call against us at the end of the game gave QPR the win. It was the right call, with all credit to QPR's consistent attack. Youngster Jorge Gavilan was put in to try to add some offense but he made a mistake on a handball in the air on a QPR counterattack and the visitors made us pay. Time to focus on earning a Champions' League spot.

League Match 36
West Ham - Dagenham (3-2)
Ngando 9'
Diakite 13'
Ngando 29'
Diakite 57'
Caseres 66'

Recap: The 2nd East London Derby of the season was an entertaining back-and-forth battle that saw Ramiro Caseres make a timely comeback to the scoring sheet to give us the victory. Caseres, filling in after the departure of James Collins, hadn't scored since the F.A. Cup quarter finals in March and hasn't been able to fully fill that void. Nevertheless he was clutch on this day to keep us in the hunt for a Champions spot.

League Match 37
Dagenham - Swansea City (0-0)

Recap: With just one day of rest after the F.A. Cup final we had to resort to playing our B team in this one and even though they played well we were unable to break through against a tougher than expected Swansea team.

League Match 38
Dagenham - Sunderland
Kim 90+

Recap: We came into this game already assured a 4th place finish but we needed a win and maybe more to jump over Arsenal for 3rd place. Sunderland was as tough as they were against us back in October and it looked like we wouldn't be able to gather more than a draw until Kim broke into the box from the right away just before the final whistle and launched a strike with his left foot to the left post and in, giving us the victory. All for naught, however, as Arsenal won their game 4-0 and hung on to 3rd place due go GD.

On one hand it was disappointing to fall out of competition for the league title, and fall so far out that we even missed out on direct qualifying to the group stages of the Champions, but overall we were undoubtedly the surprise team of the season putting on several outstanding performances, winning the F.A. Cup and earning the opportunity to go head to head against the best clubs in Europe next season.

And now that the season is over, the 2018 World Cup begins!

Group A: England, Belgium, Poland, Venezuela.
Group B: Spain, Colombia, Mexico, Norway.
Group C: Netherlands, Uruguay, Switzerland, Korea Republic.
Group D: Argentina, Czech Republic, Ireland, New Zealand.
Group E: Italy, Denmark, Scotland, South Africa.
Group F: France, United States, Slovenia, Cote d'Ivoire.
Group G: Germany, Turkey, Australia, Egypt.
Group H: Brazil, Russia, Romania, Cameroon.

Group A
Venezuela - Belgium (1-0)
Martinez 90+'

Recap: First of all I wanted to point out that we were placed in an incredibly difficult group. Belgium and England are elite European forces and Poland has probably as much talent as I can bring into this. This opening game was key for us and we would had been happy to come away with a draw. We played it smart, we were patient with our opportunities and played solid defense, and because of that we were able to take 14 shots, 10 of them on goal, while keeping possession for 59% of the game. Not all of our shots were of the dangerous variety but we definitely put pressure on Courtois' goal. Belgium's attack, on the other hand, had to work extra hard to get 8 shots off, none of them on target but a handful of them came really close. It looked like it'd be a scoreless draw until Josef Martinez scored in a play very similar to Kim's goal in the last game of the season for Dagenham, rocketing a left footed shot to Courtois' right side that was too well placed and too hard hit to be spot, getting us to steal 3 points in this very important opener.

Venezuela - England (0-2)
Henderson 7'
Wilshere 40'

Recap: Outstanding game by England who score both of their goals thanks to crisp passing. They were also tough defensively, with an inspired Joe Hart on goal, and they clinched a spot in the Round of 16 while sending us to a must-win game against Poland.

STANDINGS

Group A
1. England - 6pts
2. Poland - 3pts
3. Venezuela - 3pts
4. Belgium - 0pts

Group B
1. Spain - 6pts
2. Colombia - 3pts
3. Mexico - 3pts
4. Norway - 0pts

Group C
1. Netherlands - 4pts
2. Uruguay - 4pts
3. Switzerland - 1pt
4. Korea Republic - 1pt

Group D
1. Argentina - 6pts
2. New Zealand - 3pts
3. Czech Republic - 3pts
4. Ireland - 0pts

Group E
1. Denmark - 6pts
2. Italy - 4pts
3. South Africa - 1pt
4. Scotland - 0pts

Group F
1. France - 6pts
2. Cote d'Ivoire - 3pts
3. Slovenia - 1pt
4. United States - 1pt

Group G
1. Turkey - 4pts
2. Germany - 3pts (1 GP)
3. Egypt - 1pt (1 GP)
4. Australia - 0pts

Group H (all have 1 GP)
1. Brazil - 3pts
2. Russia - 3pts
3. Cameroon - 0pts

I don't mean to tease, but the next game isn't until the beginning of July and I have to do this update and the roster review one before I can get there.
