I don't remember that many intense games but the Champions League final against Bayern München in my Real Madrid career on FIFA 15 was a really intense game. The game was 2-0 for them in the 75th minute but I managed to equalise it in the last fifteen minutes. Then I scored three in extra time to make it 5-2 and to win the game. If anyone is interested, here is the link: http://www.operationsports.com/forum...post2046640267

I know you didn't ask this but one of the worst games I have ever played was a Champions League semi final game against Sevilla with Hertha on FIFA 14. I won the first leg 2-0 but in the second one they beat me 3-0.

A second Finnish scout had been hired. Turkka Vijanen is a 2*2* and is setting up a network in Australia to look for future stars.

Our current Finnish 1*1* scout, Justus Tuomi has set out to Japan to search for new talent. He will be there for 9 months.

      January 2015

      Match 27
      Bradford City 0-1 Wycombe
      Valencia 43'

Man of the Match: Anthony Stewart

2 minutes before half time Valencia had a shot. The keeper probably would have saved it but for a deflection off one of his defenders. The shot was on target so the goal is credited to Valencia. It got a bit nervy towards the end when Bradford missed an open goal off a rebounded shot and then with the last kick of the game they struck the post. We held on though and got another win.

      Match 28
      Wycombe 2
      -0 Gillingham
      Plano 27' 36' PEN

Man of the Match: Marvin McCoy

A cross from McClure in the 27th minute gave Plano the perfect target to head as he headed it powerfully past the keeper. Plano got his brace 9 minutes later from the penalty spot. He won the penalty himself when he took the ball on his chest from a cross and was taken down from behind. The ref gave a penalty against Hause in the 81st minute but Rodrigo guessed the right way and saved it! The resulting corner was cleared and it ended 2-0.

      FA Cup Round 3
      Everton 3-0 Wycombe
      Jelavic 19' 43'
      Fellaini 84'

      Our Best: Rodrigo

A big game for us as we headed to Goodison Park to play Everton in the 3rd round of the prestigious FA Cup. Everton struck the first blow through Jelavic in the 19th minute. Fellaini out muscled Fenlon on the right and put a low cross into Jelavic who made no mistake with a one touch finish into the bottom corner. He got a second before half time when we didn't get close enough to him in the box and he punished us. A cross found Fellaini who extinguished the tiny shred of hope we had 5 minutes from time. And the FA Cup has come to an end for us again now in the 3rd Round.

      Match 29
      Wycombe 0
      -0 Tranmere

      Our Best: Louis Laing

We had an abundance of chances in the first half forcing 6 saves from the Tranmere Goalkeeper. To be honest I don't know how I didn't win this game. The amount of chances I had was unbelievable. We have to stop these 0-0 draws.

      Match 30
      Oldham Athletic 1-0 Wycombe
      Philliskirk 24'

Man of the Match: Kortney Hause

A poor kick out 24 minutes in fell to an Oldham player. Rodrigo saved the shot but Philliskirk put the rebound in. Oh my god I'm getting annoyed now. We can't take our chances at all. Not even one on target this time. Need a win against Yeovil in the last game of January.

      Match 31
      Yeovil Town 0-2 Wycombe
      Angol 58'
      Scowen 76'

Man of the Match: Seth Nana Ofori-Twumasi

58 minutes in Ofori-Twumasi played the ball into Angol who was just inside the box. He took a touch and buried it into the bottom corner to put us 1-0 up. Scowen doubled the lead when Pittman's shot was saved and the ball fell to him for an easy tap in. It ended 2-0 and we finished January with a 3-1-2 record.

      Player of the Month

      Kortney Hause
He was consistent in defence all month and deserves his second Player of the Month award of the season.

Some devastating news. It seems my Southend career is done for. The game keeps freezing when I try to begin a new season. I tried loading previous saves and seeing if those work, but no luck. Seems I'm having a rotten bit of luck with careers, so I might just take a small break from FIFA for a while.

Oh no, that's just horrific! I can't believe how bad your luck has been with FIFA lately, it's like someone at EA is watching you play and deciding to ruin your fun. Unbelievable, man.

We will miss you really much, please don't take a break. Try starting another career and pray for it to work.

In FIFA 13 I was in the Championship playoff final with Bolton against Wolverhampton. Wolves scored early and I couldn't get passed their defence. In the 90th minute however, Mayuka stole the ball off the keeper who was outside the box and ran it into the open goal I jumped around my room. It was Extra time and I decided to play for penalties (Like I normally do) but a mistake in the defence by wolves caused Mayuka to have an open run I finess it passed the keeper to get Bolton promoted.

Also after a week away I'm starting my career mode tomorrow.

My most intense game was the one I played with Bayern against Dortmund. I don't remember many of the details except for 2. There were 11 cards given out and I finished the game with only 9 guys!!!

                  February 2015

                  Match 32
                  Wycombe 2
                  -0 Notts County
                  McClure 16'
                  Cowan-Hall 39'

Man of the Match: Paris Cowan-Hall

Ok, so for this game I tried out a new formation (4-2-3-1 Wide) to see if it would help me to score more goals. It seemed to as in the 16th minute McClure put us 1 up. Cowan-Hall provided the cross when he jinked into the box and McClure did the rest. He climbed above 2 defenders and the keeper had no chance as he headed it powerfully in. Cowan-Hall then turned goal scorer as the left side of the Notts County defence was left wide open for him to run onto a McClure pass. The initial shot was saved but the rebound fell to him again and he tucked it away to make it 2-0. 3 minutes from time McClure gave a lovely chip over the defence to Plano who forced another save from the Notts keeper. We kept Notts shotless for the entire game.

                  Match 33
                  Walsall 0-2 Wycombe
                  Kretzschmar 22'
                  Angol 49'

Man of the Match: Marvin McCoy

Charles Dunne makes his first appearance of the season in the LB position as he has returned from an Anterior Cruciate Ligament injury. We started well and Kretzschmar grabbed his 6th goal in all competitions when Morias tackled the CB and then unselfishly gave a small pass to Kretzschmar who fired it in top corner. 4 minutes after the break Angol put us 2 up. Morias slid him in down the right side of the box and he cut back inside an finished into the left corner. 2 goals was the margin of victory in this game for us.

NEWS: Matt McClure has decided to stay with the club and does not want to move away.

                  Match 34
                  Wycombe 2
                  -1 Preston
                  Cowan-Hall 45'
                  Beavon 45'
                  Cansdell-Sherriff 72' OG

Man of the Match: Anthony Stewart

With 45 minutes gone Cowan-Hall opened the scoring with a header. Kretzschmar picked him out with a cross from the right. He jumped highest to meet it and it struck the bar. He then reacted quickest to head it again, this time into the net. Then right after Preston got level through Beavon when he did a sliding volley from a ball over the top to beat Rodrigo who had dived the wrong way. 72 minutes in Kretzschmar put in a chip from the right side of the box. The keeper dived out and got a hand to it but the ball spun up into the air. Cowan-Hall won the header and it deflected off the head of Cansdell-Sherriff away from the keeper and into the net. This gives us our third win out of 3 in February.

                  Match 35
                  Port Vale 1-4 Wycombe
                  Plano 21'
                  Pope 41'
                  Sarmov 43'
                  Angol 59' 89'

Man of the Match: Lee Angol

We broke the deadlock with 21 minutes gone when Morias chipped the ball over the defence for Plano who took one touch and poked it past the on rushing keeper. Pope equalised 20 minutes later when a corner wasn't cleared and he stuck it in. We reasserted our authority 2 minutes later when Wood crossed to Morias who controlled it and had his shot blocked. Sarmov then intercepted the pass out of the box and finished beautifully with his left foot. On 59 minutes a beautiful 20 yard over the top through ball from Morias found Angol's run. He controlled it and scored from just outside the box to bring the score line to 3-1. This is his second goal in 3 games. 20 minutes later Angol was on target again when he cut inside from the right and finished it in off the post with his left again. Now he has 3 in 3. We completed February with a 100% record winning 4 out of 4 and scoring 10 goals.

                  Player of the Month

                  Lee Angol

With 3 goals and an assist in February Lee Angol is the Player of the Month.

I'm still playing FIFA 13 and I started with a CC team in the Bundesliga and next year went to Liverpool. Well I have been there for 3 years and won, 2 Champions Cup, 3 Barclays, 2 FA Cups, 2 Capital One Cups. My record is fantasy, 150+ wins, and like 50 losses or so. Now I figure it's time for me to move on. I applied for Tottenham, Athletico, Hannover and Parma. I have been denied for all of them! Is this like a glitch in the game or is there something on my back that says don't hire this guy.

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?

I started watching football when the Italian league was the apex of the game and teams like Milan were the kings of the world. Long before I fell in love with Lampard and Chelsea, I was fascinated by the likes of Parma and Milan. Serie A today is unfortunately the least attractive major European league. Germany, England and Spain are far ahead in terms of revenue, attendances and quality of football. It breaks my heart to see the state of the Italian game these days, with outdated stadiums and dwindling attendances. Obviously, it doesn't help that the country is enduring a financial crisis of similar severity to Spain, Greece, Ireland and Portugal. For the last few days, I've been watching clips and matches from Serie A in the 1990s, and I feel nostalgic. Watching the likes of Baggio and Ronaldo again makes me realise just how bloody incredible Italian football can be at times. I'd like to bring Italy back to the front, and I'm going to do it with one of three teams.

There was a time when Milan were the kings of Europe. Arrigo Sacchi put together probably the greatest club teams in the history of football, right alongside the Ajax side that won three straight European Cups. Milan's avatar in the game is a reflection of its real-life counterpart ― old and lacking in talent.

                      • Starting budget obviously not enough to build world-class team
                      • Lacking the Dutch flavour that made Milan so devastating

Inter underachieved during the heyday of Italian football, failing to win Serie A despite having players like Ronaldo and Zamorano. Today, the squad is full of players who have no business in what should be an elite team. My task will be to offload everyone except Icardi and Handanovic to build a fearsome team.

Parma might still be waiting for their first league title, but they achieved considerable cup success in the 90s with two Coppa Italia and two UEFA Cup wins. They have had world-class players like Crespo and Zola, and the academy produced Buffon, the greatest goalkeeper in Italian history.

I would really enjoy all of those teams but Parma is the most interesting one. Many old players, only few good players, lack of depth and a bad budget. They would be the biggest challenge and most awarding in my opinion. Inter and Milan have good squads and you could finish in the top three in your first season.

They have had world-class players like Crespo and Zola, and the academy produced Buffon, the greatest goalkeeper in Italian history.

I have to say this was a complete 50:50 between Parma and Milan. Despite being born in 1999, I have had an interest in football since a young age and especially loved watching what I still feel today is the greatest league era of all time, Seria A in the 1990s. Milan, Juventus and the likes were incredible. Me and my History teacher share this passion and he used to take me out of tutor time to watch classic Juventus games from the 90s, talking through them as he could remember watching them clear as day. I remember seeing Del Piero come onto the scene in front of my eyes on potato quality YouTube footage, watching Van Basten tear it up up front for Milan, seeing Totti show his class for Roma 2 decades ago and watching Parma fail to win the title in 1997. Me and my teacher would sit and watch Juve beat Parma in that match that would essentially decide the title over and over again, reliving the quality on display. It appears I developed an appeal to Parma, as they are the team I follow the most in Serie A and it breaks my heart to see them bottom of the league. The magical forwards of Chiesa and Crespo, the magic of Dino Baggio, the defending of Cannavaro and the goalkeeping of Buffon. I still think if Zola hadn't gone to your beloved Chelsea at the start of that season, they would have won the league.

So basically, after that huge wall of text I'm saying I'm voting for Parma. Win it for them, win it for me. They should have had it in that golden era, they better get it now. So after that emotional speech, even if everyone else votes Milan, I will do one. Only if you don't, as your writing style makes it seem like it is happening in real life.

That is some speech, mate. I can feel your passion in the words, pretty evident that you love Parma quite a bit. I also think they were unlucky not to win the league with that team, but it just speaks volumes about the quality of the league at that time.

All said and done, I've pretty much settled on Parma. I know you guys love the way I write, but this one is going to be very special. I'm going all-out for the updates with a mix of styles and posts. There will be surprises and twists, and I hope to see a title within a few seasons.

Yay!!!! It's what happens when you spend about a year of your life just watching Seria A and that Parma team Thanks, I was aiming to show the passion and it's a glimpse of what's to come when I start my next career after Christmas. I have so many ideas for it and I've not been so excited for one is ages. The way I write will be so passionate for that career and I hope you don't mind if at some point I nick your idea of doing a massive write up about the team and whats happened. That West Brom thing is one of the best write ups I've ever seen on this thread.

Also, as you said it really does speak volumes of the league. This simple fact can tell you this, Milan won the league the previous year. They finished 11th that season.

Just bought my first PS4 game last night. I wanted it to be FIFA, but it wasn't on sale :P Instead I got Shadow of Mordor as it was 50% off. The game will also serve as a commitment, since I must now buy a PS4 or else the game will go to waste haha I was actually very disappointed to see there were no PS4 Black Friday sales. Xbox One was $70 off all day, while all the PS4 had was the Destiny bundle (white PS4) on sale for the same price as the regular PS4. Lame -_- lol
Have to say congrats Chicobass on getting PS4. I have some news myself was able to get an Xbox one. Was going to get madden had a copy of madden in my hand in the checkout, when my wife looked at it and said that is the wrong game, it was for 360 lol. So I went back and looked all the maddens were gone so, I looked and the only game left Xbox ones was fifa 15. So I will be moving to that in a few weeks. Going to work with lugo career before I officially move on to next gen.
