#6Missouri Tigers (7-0, Away)
#16Texas A&M Aggies (5-2, Home)
Game Notes
The last time the Texas A&M Aggies defeated the Missouri Tigers was in 2006 at College Station where they defeated the Tigers 25-19.
2011 was supposed to be the Aggies year as they started off the season ranked in the top 10 in the nation but after losing twice so far they need help to just win the Big XII let alone contend for the national championship, but knocking off the #6 Tigers would be a feather in their cap for bragging rights alone.
Their running game is top 10 in the nation, and their passing attack is top 25. Unfortunately the Tigers rush defense is #1 in the nation, but their palty #112 passing defense provides an opportunity for the Aggies. It should be a great game at College Station.
Games to watch in week 9
#6 Missouri (7-0) at #16 Texas A&M (5-2)
#7 TCU (7-0) at BYU (5-3)
#10 Wisconsin (6-1) at #17 Ohio State (5-2)
#12 Illinois (7-0) at #5 Penn State (8-0)
#25 NC State (6-1) at #19 Florida State (5-2)
#22 Ole Miss (6-1) at #9 Auburn (7-1)
Syracuse (6-1) at #20 Louisville (7-0)
Southern Miss (7-0) at UTEP (4-3)
Re: When the Defense Roars: Missouri Tigers Dynasty
College Station Rocked, Missouri Tigers remain undefeated
The #6 Missouri Tigers improved to 8-0 on the season, but it was not easy. In a defensive battle the Missouri Tigers took 3-0 lead after G. Ressel nailed a 37 yard field goal with 3:36 left in the first quarter. The Aggies tried to respond in kind but their 45 yard field goal attempt bounced off the bottom bar back onto the field for a heart breaking miss.
The second quarter was more of the same, as neither offense really got going. The Aggies offense finally put together a 93 yard 13 play drive to knock on the door with 1:47 left on 3rd and goal from the 2, but the Tiger defense held and blocked the field goal to retain their 3-0 lead.
James Franklin and Wes Kemp hooked up twice on the ensuring drive, and Ressel nailed a 35 yard field goal as the clock expired to put the Tigers up 6-0 at the half.
The 3rd quarter was the same story, and the Aggies kept moving the ball but the Tigers kept shutting them down when it mattered the most, and the Aggies went for a 50 yard field goal late in the 3rd but missed it short which was to be expected after the 45 yard bottom bar hit earlier in the day.
James Franklin scrambled 4 yards to put the Tigers up 12-0 with 5:06 left in the fourth quarter and then the Tigers went for and got the 2-point conversion to hold a commanding 14-0 lead based on how the defensive battle was going.
U. Nwachukwa got the Aggies on the board with a 50 yard catch from R. Tannehill to make it a 14-7 game. The Tigers responded with DeVion Moore who capped off a 53-yard drive with a 1 yard scramble for the TD and a 21-7 lead.
The Aggies were not done, and with 0:42 left K. Swope caught a beautiful 13 yard pass to make it 21-14. On the onside kick attempt the Aggies recovered, and College Station went nuts as the Aggies were about to tie the game.
Unfortunately for the Aggies K. Edwards who had been relatively quiet all day stepped up big and intercepted R. Tannehill to end the Aggies drive and James Franklin simply kneeled down to end the game and the Aggies bid for an upset as the Tigers prevailed 21-14.
K. Edwards prevents overtime with a beautiful interception with 0:31 left in the game

In other news the 8-0 Southern Miss football team is started to getting annoyed they have not yet been ranked on any of the 3 polls.
Re: When the Defense Roars: Missouri Tigers Dynasty
Very true. I am hoping Wisconsin takes down Penn State, because otherwise it's Big Ten vs Big Ten and Pac 12 vs Pac 12 for the top spots. I am a little worried about Kansas, they have been putting up great passing yards this year (averaging nearly 300 a game).

#6 Missouri (8-0) at Baylor (4-3)
Matchup Preview *|* November 5, 2011
@
#6Missouri Tigers (8-0, Away)
Baylor Bears (4-3, Home)
Game Notes
The Baylor Bears (4-3) feature a decent passing attack this year, but after Missouri's performance against the Aggies last week the smart money is on the Tigers who control the Big XII and potentially their own destiny as National Champions.
The last time the Tigers went to Waco they squeaked past the Bears 31-28 in 2008. However, they are looking for some revenge for their 40-32 loss to the Bears in 2009.
Look for that famed Tiger defense to come up big and hold the Bears as the Tigers are tired of being the only team in the Big XII with a sub #90 passing defense.
