The Rise - A North Dakota Dynasty

Um Hello and Welcome to my North Dakota Dynasty. I know many of you do not know me so I'll introduce myself. I am Omcurr, I've been a ghost on this forum for a long time. I finally decided to go out and do a dynasty so here i am. A couple of things to start: 1. The North Dakota Roster isn't perfect as North Dakota is a FCS team so they don't have too many outlets to put there roster. 2. I am not really going for realism as its very hard to achieve in NCAA 14 (teams like USC and Alabama Fall off after like 3 seasons atleast in my case). And 3. The inspiration for this dynasty comes from a few places Mainly LopaKa (S/He/it is the inspiration for most of the graphics aswell i would just like to point that out). So after all that i think we are ready to start this Dynasty.

Re: The Rise - A North Dakota Dynasty

I love the idea of putting North Dakota State and North Dakota into the FBS. NDSU will probably do pretty good based on their past history, but you might have to work hard with North Dakota to get them FBS success.

                    I'll be following for sure!

This Game did not start well for us as we got manhandled up front and had to punt. The game didnt get any better as we couldnt stop the run at all and were lucky to give up only a field goal on Tennessee's first possession of the game. On the next drive we drove down the field into the redzone only to miss a 22-yd field goal. Tennessee's run game was unstoppable and they showed it on there next drive with Alvin Kamara punching it in from 35.

We Punted on our next drive and they got the ball to start the second quarter. Josh Dobbs absolutely dismantled our secondary throwing for 65 yards on that drive a perfect 5-5 and a td. We couldnt do anything on offense and we had to punt again. And that was the story of the game really, we had the ball copious amounts of times but we couldnt convert those drives into touchdowns. We did manage to score in the 3rd quarter but by that time the score was 24-0 and we went for two, to make it a 2 score game but were denied.

The 4th quarter was terrible for us as we couldnt hold them at all, with josh dobbs breaking off a 66-yd run for a score to add insult to injury. With all that being said the team played pretty well I know the score line and stat sheet dont show it but im proud of how we played. we werent expected to score but we did and we held tennessee to a score-less 3rd quarter.

We look forward to next week as we face off against the 1-0 Colorado State Rams.

Ps- I wanted to wait until i got a capture card to post the first game but it will take a while to get here so i have to hold off on that. Also the Dynasty generator thing needs to be updated as North Dakotas Mascot is Now the fighting Hawk i dont know who i should message about that pls help

Coming into this game the North Dakota Fighting Hawks were 0-1 with a blowout loss to the Tennessee Volunteers. In that game they showed little to no fight so coming into this one they wanted to show a little fight. And that they did, In the first quarter.

The Fighting Hawks received the ball to start the game. They then marched 75 yds down the field to score on a two yard run by Tyler Coyne. That's when the game went down hill, Colorado State then scored on there first drive. They then intercepted Keaton Studsrud and turned that turnover into points. Then they forced the Fighting hawks to punt and turned that into points. And you get the point they completely stopped this fighting hawks offense. Colorado State Walked into half time with a 21 point lead and looked to expand that.

But Kyle Schweiger made massive halftime adjustments and the Fighting Hawks defense came out hot forcing the Rams to punt for the first time all game. And the offense came out hot aswell with them marching down the field to score and put the game to within 2 scores. Colorado State would then punt on their next drive which was returned for 44 yds by Brady Oliveira to put them on the Rams 42. That would be turned into points and at the end of the third quarter the Fighting Hawks were only down by 7 points.

To start the 4th quarter there was a lot of punting every possession up until halfway through the quarter was a punt. After a punt that put the Fighting Hawks inside their own 15. Keaton Studsrud Led a game tying Touchdown drive. On the ensuing rams drive they marched down the field only for the kicker to miss a 43 yd field goal. The fighting hawks took advantage of that miss and had their kicker kick a 23 yd field goal as time expired to pick up there first win of the season and first as a member of the FBS.
