Re: Anyone from Europe ordered the game? (Traditional thread)
Long time lurker and first time poster, just thought I'd voice my excitement for this game. I'll be happy to comment on PlanetAxel when the order arrives, hopefully it's about the same time as you VG+/DHL folk!Comment

Re: Anyone from Europe ordered the game? (Traditional thread)
I've ordered with VG+ with DHL delivery again this year. It will be interesting to see when the planetaxel orders arrive though as their price is cheaper. Might try them next year.PSN - devilrays. US - RaysRepublicComment

Re: Anyone from Europe ordered the game? (Traditional thread)
I think I'm gonna order it at PlanetAxel this year.. Not because it's about 1€ cheaper but I want to test
It took about 2 weeks for last years game to get it (I ordered it at VG+)Comment

Re: Anyone from Europe ordered the game? (Traditional thread)
I already posted this somewhere on here, but last year I ordered the game at both VG+ and Axelmusic. I kept the one that arrived first and sold the other on Ebay...forgot which one came faster though!

Re: Anyone from Europe ordered the game? (Traditional thread)
Absolutely Gerry, because they are in Germany so they have to get their shipment in from North America before sending it on, and nobody from NA will ship so it lands much before street release date, so im intrigued as to how Planet Axel do it?
Me? Couldnt be happier with VG+ and DHL, not one letdown in over 5 years now so ill stick with them
edit: I take that back - they have warehouses in the USA so thats how they do it

Re: Anyone from Europe ordered the game? (Traditional thread)
Yeah im more than happy with vg+ too. However if the planetaxel pilgrims get it on release day with standard delivery then I can wait a day to save £20.
Anyone else getting the double pack? Has anyone ever ordered more than 1 game and had trouble with customs?Comment

Re: Anyone from Europe ordered the game? (Traditional thread)
I didn´t have a problem with VG+ either, moreso with german customs (they must have eagle eyes)! I had to pick up more than 1 shipment from VG+ from the customs office only to be waiting for the guy at the desk to calculate how much I have to pay them so that they won´t lose any of their VAT
!!!
I guess VG+ mentioning that it is a "gift" worth 20$ on the envelope doesn´t help matters too!
We´ll all be fine with our games when the´re here in only a couple of weeks guys!!!

Re: Anyone from Europe ordered the game? (Traditional thread)
Seeming as I have done both VG+ and Planetaxel I had a look back at the old email receipts.
VG+ from 2009 shipped on the 2nd March, 2010 on 1st March both times on standard delivery, both arrived about a week and half later.
Planetaxel last year shipped on 2nd March with standard delivery and arrived on either release date or the next day, I can't recall for sure.
VG+ is super reliable to get you it on release date with DHL delivery judging by comments in this thread but for those penny pinchers like me planetaxel proved reliable last year. The release price also changed after I had ordered last year and they sent me a small voucher on top of a promotional code so this year I got MLB The Show 12 shipped for just £38.70, bargain.
In summary they both do a great jobComment

Re: Anyone from Europe ordered the game? (Traditional thread)
I'm waiting to order it a few more days as next week i'll be receiving a VITA, and my doubt is if to order both PS3+Vita versions or just the PS3 version and get the VITA from the online PSN store as downloadable game, that way i'll be sure to have at least it on release day while i wait for the ps3 version to be shipped.Comment

Re: Anyone from Europe ordered the game? (Traditional thread)
Being that there is 200 pages to this thread, I apolize if this has been asked....
This is my first time ordering from VG+. I purchased both vita and ps3 versions with DHL shipping to Sweden.
When should I expect the delivery? The following day after release (7th Mar) or even with DHL, a few days after that? Would I receive tracking info automatically, or do I have to request it from VG+?
Like I said, this is my first time ordering form them and would like to use your knowledge and experience with past orders.
One more thing.....with DHL, do I have to BE there to accept the delivery or is there a way I could have them leave it in the mailbox? I'll be at work and I don't know whether or not to take a "sick day" or two....
Thank youComment

You will receive an e-mail with the tracking number on it.
I would also recommend e-mailing VG+ (if you haven't already) with your order number to confirm they have you down for DHL delivery.
The good thing with DHL is that you can track where the parcel is so you will know which day it's coming - so you can, ahem, have a day off sick! lol
Hope that helps...if you have any more questions feel free to post and we'll do our best to answer.Last edited by Ninjoid; 02-15-2012, 06:43 PM.Dedicated member of the CPU v CPU worldwide brethren.Comment

Re: Anyone from Europe ordered the game? (Traditional thread)
You'll need to be at home to sign for it I'm afraid. The past few years VG+ have shipped on the Friday prior to the US release on the Tuesday. From our experience in the UK we have received the game on the Monday prior to the US release the past few years.

I happen to be off that Monday and Tuesday....which will be perfect if they ship prior to release day...Comment

Re: Anyone from Europe ordered the game? (Traditional thread)
No probs...we're all that sad that we manage to find the actual DHL flight to the UK and track it across the Atlantic....oh the joy....2 weeks on Friday and the trackathon will begin..... I'll drop Charlotte at VG+ an e-mail early that week to see if they are still going to ship on March 2nd - they should as they usually do.Dedicated member of the CPU v CPU worldwide brethren.Comment
