Mostly DHL i think, i guess Fedex could/should be just as fast, have you got any tracking info for them yet?

Ninj, im thinking in a few hours our little packages will be settling in next to each other on the plane for the long flight ahead

I would imagine if takes off for a guess at say 8pm Eastern (1am here) then roughly an 8 hour flight so we could possibly be landing at East Midlands DHL depot around 9am/10am tomorrow our time?

Who knows, the fun has begun!

Weird, I asked for 'DHL or whatever is fastest' and they gave me FedEx.

this is what im thinking. is it possible that we could get it tomorrow? monday last year was great but friday..oh my! i need it now! then finally i can sleep easy

It will certainly land in the UK tomorrow morning but as to whether its then transported onto vans to get to your local sorting office, then onto another van to get to you, all in one go, i doubt it.

Friday is usually the day it gets transported from whichever UK DHL airport hub you landed at to your local DHL sorting office and then the next day (Monday sadly as i dont think DHL work weekends over here?!) its on a van to you for delivery.

Unless theres some way you can get your local DHL sorting office (if you can even access it) to give it to you on Saturday then i think we are all looking at Monday.

You never know though in this game

My local DHL depot is only 15 minutes away but i don't think there's any chance they'd hand it over if I called in on Saturday morning (although they are open from 9 until 12).

I've just looked back in my sales history and 2010 landed on Saturday in England and was delivered Monday.

I dont know, surely worth a trip down with some ID to give it a go?

Worst they can say is no lol

All good now but i had a heart in mouth moment earlier on.

Got email about 6.30 our time from Charlotte saying my card had been declined!
Swiftly phoned bank and they had declined the payment as they were suspicious of something being paid for in CAD! Sorted all out though and now have my DHL number.

I suppose I should be happy my bank flags such activity but almost had a meltdown lol!

Hasnt it got to go from Canada to the DHL world hub in Wilmington, Carolina first?

If so it'll go there and then not leave there for the UK till tomorrow, landing Saturday as you say, then on vans blah blah.

Weird indeed, never seen VG+ using Fedex.. anyway im sure ull be fine just like DHL, ive had games deliveried to me by Fedex(from cd universe) and they take the exactl same time as DHL to deliver 2-3 days.

Yeah I think you are right. I think mine maybe left from Cleveland or somewhere to come here. I would of thought it would leave directly from Canada but Ive no idea how these things work. I suppose it must go to whichever the next available flight is?
