Hey Guys,

I try to obtain shipping number from VG+ but they say my order is shipped by Airmail which does not include tracking. How can i know where's my order ? I've tried to find on the DHL site but i've only seen a search with shipper's reference (which i don't have).
I don't have bill yet so i have any reference (except my order number).

Sounds like you didn't email them about having the game shipped with DHL.

Airmail is the standard shipping method, and it can't be tracked.

If you went with VG+ by standard delivery its likely your looking at a 2 week wait unfortunately, thats the general feedback over the years which is why a lot of guys go with DHL for the extra money.

just checked my email and my DHL tracking ID was sitting there...sssweet

the only thing is...even if it does get here monday i aint gonna have a chance to play it until the weekend anyway *SO gutted*...work suuucks

Tracking just updated...we're cleared at EM....and are into sorting now

OMG! I wasn't expecting it to leave Leipzig until Sunday night like last year! This would mean that if all goes smoothly, I might be able to pick it up today!!

Congrats Rod - excellent stuff, really pleased for you bud.

As for ours, both mine and Psycho's have kept each other company all the way, with exactly the same time stamps on the tracking info....

We've now left East Midlands and are heading north to the depot at Stockton...so Monday it is for us.

Like every year, it's been awesome, some might call it sad, to share the same amount of excitement for a video game. We just need to get more people to buy it so we actually get it released over here, as well.

I will definitely be posting impressions. The game is installing. There is 5GB mandatory install and a 10GB optional install. The games asks you which one you'd rather go with. The mammoth 10GB install promises improved loading times. Let's see how that works!

In the meantime I fired up the vita version. Mets vs Texas. First impression was: "it doesn't look as good as I thought it would". Don't get me wrong it is impressive nonetheless but it's like playing a pixelated version of its bigger brother. That's about the only thing and it doesn't bother me. Just not as polished as other Vita games I've played.
Secondly, analog controls are much harder to get used to. Not sure if it's a vita-only thing or if it will be the same with the PS3 version. Throwing my warm-up pitches with Santana, I didn't throw a strike. I actually really like that, as the pitch count increases and the chance of walks is higher. Hope it's the same in the PS3 version.
Have only played 2 thirds of an inning so I guess there'll be more to report. If you have any specific q's, let me know and I'll try to answer them before my wife gets out of bed and we start our normal ( ) routine.

edit: Just got out untouched of a bases loaded jam in the first with Santana. Make no mistake people, the vita version is the real deal. Actually, the pixels aren't as bad as they looked first. PS3 version finished installing and is showing a short film about the race for a spot in the playoffs from last year with what sounds like Jimi Hendrix in the background. Longer than in previous years.

First Impressions PS3 Version:
* I'm getting acquainted with the menus and whatnot. The loading times really did improve. It feels much faster and responsive than ever before. Will start checking teams and other minor aspects before playing an exhibition game. Any requests?
* The game has an online pass. That's a bummer. That means you'll only be allowed to play with one psn account online. And it seems that in order to enjoy the cross platform saves you'll have to be using an American psn account. Not confirmed yet but not sure if I want to test this much as that might mean either a) having to buy an online pass even though I bought the original version or b) having to buy the game again. No panic yet, though, I'll try to ask around and see what the final word on this is.

busy three day trip to birmingham though, so even though its GUARENTEED to be delivered to my work on monday i wont be getting it till tuesday as i said.

Ninj we left East Mids around 4 hrs ago so should be in Stockton anytime now.

How frustrating that it'll be sat only a few miles away from us all weekend yet we can't get him.

How did you guys get the VG+ DHL shipping id? I asked for DHL and paid for it, my order says shipped, but i have not received the DHL tracking code... hope they didn't screw it and sent it by mail by mistake.
