Ah ok!

But with the express delivery there is a really good chance to get the game even before the official release in the US. VG+ last year had the game listed as available the weekend before(!!) release...of course your game is going to get shipped at that time also :-)!

With the normal delivery chances are, you get the game maybe at the end of the release week...I guess!

Of course it´s your choice, just shharing my 2ct :-)

Why would I pay twice as many for DHL to get the same service?

So I will just track the stuff on DHL's website, and I will contact them when it arrives to their logistics center.

Depends where you are. Usually normal deliveries to the UK using Canadian Air Mail take between 7-10 days...so if they despatch on the Friday before release 1st March (they usually do) you make get it sometime later the following week (if you are UK).

Finally I have ordered the game!

I have confirmed my order (PREORDER NOW PAY LATER CREDIT CA), then sent an email to the customer support to ship it via DHL. I have also left note in the order itself.

What happens now? Will they update the cost of shipment in the "Order Information" menu? After they do this, can I ask them to debit my Mastercard and not wait until the release day?

By the way, do they store your credit card information?

You will get an e-mail back saying they've updated the order and your order info will change to reflect the shipping.

You can also ask them to take the money early (that's what Psycho and I have done) and I'm not sure on the card info but suspect it will be stored somewhere. Best asking VG+ here.

Hey everyone !

I have a few questions regarding ordering MLB The Show 13 via Video Games Plus and i really hope you can help me

First of all, i am from Germany and it is kind of difficult to get ahold of the game ... I've read a few pages already but i would still like to know if somebody has any experience in ordering the game from Germany or other european countries..

Last year i ordered the game from Canada via Ebay but it wasn't a very smooth transaction

It took the parcel about a month to get to Germany and when it finally arrived it was hold up at the german customs and i had to get there and pay some additional tax...

Now i wanted to know whether this could be avoided by ordering it from VG+ or if anyone made similar experiences ...

Furthermore i would appreciate it if someone could explain to me how to order it via DHL express and what would be the costs of ordering it that way

Now, they are telling me, that It's 60 CAD to Hungary with DHL shipping. Guess I will stay with the standard....

It is approx 28CAD to ship to the UK using DHL. I hope this isn't tempting fate but I've never had an issue with VG+ and customs and I've been dealing with them for several years.

To place an order with VG+ for the Show (inc DHL shipping) do the following:

1 - Pre-order with pay later option (Credit card) and in the order notes enter "Please ship via DHL"
2 - Once you get the order number email customer support quoting this number asking them to change your order to reflect the additional DHL shipping.
3 - Charlotte or someone from VG+ will get back to you via mail
4 - Check your order status on their website and it should have changed to reflect the additional shipping.
5 - Sit back and wait - hopefully we get it on Monday March 4th (as per previous years)

I've ordered from Germany the last 4 years with no issues. Last year I even got the game 3 days before official release date (Dhl express). Check the last two pages of this thread to know how to have it shipped via Dhl express. Viel Spaß and welcome to the club.

Is MLB 13 going to be region free? My first thought would be to offer to ship a US copy to the EU. I assumed it was RF. Or is it not the cost, but the speed that you want the game? Might be more expensive anyways, I forget what the USPS int flat rate boxes cost.

All PS3 games are "region free", its not like the 360 it doesnt lock any games to any regions.

Your post makes little sense in relation to this thread Oldboy, read it a little, its been going years, we often get the game before it comes out in America
