All confirmed by the ever lovely Charlotte....so roll on the trackathon....looking forward to more news about the game.

I know they've said it's feature full but I really hope they stick by that and don't take the standard features out like 2K have done with next gen NBA 2k14....I've got to have my cpu v cpu and pick any game in there and I'll be forever grateful! Really disappointed 2K changed all of this for their new MyGM mode...loads of unhappy people on that board, me included.

Not long to wait I guess...;-/

Interested to know if you choose the lineups for CPU v CPU? ie Deliberately pick pitching matchups that you are interested in etc?

Also do you run that in a season mode... say maybe watch 1 game per week and then sim the rest and see how things pan out?

Ive not had the Show for a few years so have missed out on all the new presentation nuances... something for me to really look forward too

I can choose lineups for cpu v cpu.....I tend to pick any matchup to watch - it could be a top game or just a game that takes my fancy....no real method to it, I might watch a 2/3 games a day then sim the rest...just whatever takes my fancy.

Having the ability to pick and choose which games to watch/play should be a staple of all games. There is nothing worse (like next gen 2k14) where you're restricted to just your teams games....once you hit the playoffs and say don't qualify that's it, you're just told who has won - totally removes the immersion....I like to play TV director and watch any game I can.....irl, if your team is eliminated or don't qualify you wouldn't just ignore the finals and find the result online, you'd want to watch it.

It was originally like this in the Show, but having chipped away at Kolbe for a couple of years they finally put the option in about 3 years ago.....I just hope they keep it that way....nothing worse than a company removing features, especially "simple" ones like this.

Fingers crossed...might regret this next statement but I'm sure Ramone and the guys at SCEA won't take this out.

If you're out of America here's a neat trick to order.

Go to Amazon PSN digital store and search for MLB 13 the show. Once there select the PS3 Digital Code option. Again do not select a physical copy, select a digital code. It's only 30$ (compared to $60 on PSN). Add a Us shipping address to your amazon account..(can be anything as long as it looks proper, they're not gonna send anything to it anyways) ...pay for it and check out and you shall be provided a PSN code.

Now just go to your PSN and if you don't have a US address on your PSN account just create a new PSN id and assign it a random American address. the reasons being that the code will only work on PSN Store US edition. It won't on Europe or Asia etc.... Enter your code and Bingo ! you have a copy of MLB 13 The show ready for download. It's a 23 GB download though

Just checked VG+ site for the first time in ages and they have the PS4 version releasing on 15/4....I'm sure it was 1/4 when they first put it up, so maybe that is going to be the date.

Alright gents, I too was searching around for a release date but to no avail.

Can't wait for a PS4 Show, it has potential to be the greatest game ever, not just sports game.

As much as I love having my MLB The Show cases, I'm going digital again this year. Not worried about the space given the size of the HDD on the PS4 and the fact MLB The Show is played basically until the next one comes out, it can have all the space it wants.

Yes, I suspect there may be different release dates for both versions...my only sin could be that I have to have a PS3 fix if there is a large gap between the two!

From Australia and Have not pre ordered anything yet until I know the exact release date, hell Depends on what comes out first if I get PS3 version or PS4, might be better to get it digital this year, to save a few days waiting in the post.

That's a very very good point, I usually like the cases too, but now I think of it don't you hate having old The shows taking up room on the shelves? it's a good idea to get it digital with my US account
