In a geordie accent...day 79 in the Ops House...Ninjoid enjoyed a day on his own in the padded cell recalling postal stories of days gone by....

Roolz and Psycho sat in the garden hatching a plot to infiltrate SCEA studios whilst checking air traffic routes from Canada to the UK....they were also handed the number 2 and 3 tickets for the padded cell treatment...

Ninjoid wondered if these numbers were a clue in making up the tracking number from VG....and was returned to the padded cell......

Its starting to feel like that, infact sitting in a cell would at least let me scratch lines in the wall as a countdown.... if I tried that in the front room here, the misses would serve me' knackers for tea

Guess what has appeared on the release list on VG+'s homepage...ah, the agony of it all!

But at least we're getting closer and this is one more milestone to chalk off...like the sados we are I know we were all waiting for it to appear....that's one more milestone down..7 more to go I reckon....

2. Obtain tracking number via e-mail
3. Package appears on DHL site
4. It's in the air
5. It's in good ol' Blighty
6. It's on a van
7. It's in our PS3s

I'm sure we could build a bigger list and I'm sure some of you have...this wait is pure agony chaps, pure agony...I've resorted to sodding milestones I have...is it only the 10th?....just a few weeks left...

I'm just seeing stuff that could go wrong now.... last time I bought from VG+ my bank declined the transaction initially because of a 'random security check' (i.e. they thought it was fraudulent).

I shall be very upset if they do the same thing this time. Delays will not be acceptable.

Checked my account today and with currency conversion the game clocks in at just about £50.

That's not bad Roolz mate, I was wondering about the delivery, and I thought it would be too expensive, so went for normal. Having said that though, The Show has been worth a hell of a lot more than £50 the past two years and probably will be again.

There's only been one month or so when I've not played the game regularly since March 09.

Ive already started my prep, got a new notepad today from Tesco (46p cant be bad)... that gets me ready to scrawl notes on players/umpires etc as I face them.

I always sell the previous years game around Christmas time so I can still get good money for it. Madness you say? Well, there is some logic.
It's Bowl Season/Playoff time in football and college hoops is well under way so I figure I've enough sports and sports gaming to keep me going. Thing is, as the Bowls are all done and the NFL games are getting much reduced (obviously!) the pangs start. They keep rising and rising and until the Superbowl is over and then anything baseball becomes like crack, but especially this game!!!

Every year at this time I'm desperate for the new game and haven't even got last years to tide me over!!
I do the same thing with every sports game so you think I'd learn by now. But no. I thought getting my mlb.tv premium subscription might help, but it's just making it worse! hehe.

Another VG+ regular here, ever since MVP2005. I tried Axel music once for NCAA BB 10, but never again. Took over a month!
