Since they're just shipping them out today I wouldn't expect it to be found in the system before midnight.

GravyBoy - I'm in Co. Durham as well.....normal post usually takes about 5-7 days from Canada to the UK.

Totally new to baseball, but have played the show 08 and loved it, so really looking forward to this new one. Also going to sit down this evening and watch Detroit V Atlanta on ESPN - first time ill have watched a game (only ever watched highlights before). Hoping to get a grasp on tactics and stuff, so if anyone has any pointers - itd be much appreciated.

Gravy...im in Teesside here (from Nottingham originally but live here now), so there are Baseball fans around this area, not many of us lol but we are here.

As for the Spring Training game tonight, with it not being regular season you wont see pitchers stay in long etc, they are very much training/exhibition games but you will still pick some stuff up im sure.

Like I said, I understand the basics of the game, but sometimes get a little lost with some plays and tactics.

For example - when the commentator calls something (like a double play) by using numbers (''out on a nice 5-3-2 play'') or something like that.

They are the numbers of the fielders who combined for the out.

For example a 6-4-3 means short to 2nd to 1st for the two outs.

I'm in Newton Aycliffe mate...just up the road from my mate Psycho (Matt)....our parcels from VG+ are well known for keeping each other company on the journey over from Canada with DHL.

Going to watch a bit of the game tonight on ESPN too...as Matt says, in spring training it's a case of the main pitchers getting a few innings under their belts and then they'll be taken out....it's also a chance for some of the players to try and earn a spot on the MLB roster.

If you've played 08, then 11 will be like a breath of fresh air...it's by far the most realistic and best looking baseball game out there...anything I can help with just ask away.

Edit - Baseball Tonight is now on live from 5pm...glorious in HD btw ;-)

Ive seen a lot of people mentioning a 'Knights' update on some other threads, saying that its draft classes or something? Are we able to get that over here or do we need to be US/Canada based?

We can get it too....it's a case of downloading it from the in-game roster vault once Knight has released it....Knight creates all of the minor leaguers etc.

SCEA also do a weekly roster update that we can download too, but Knight's is the one you want if you play franchise in any detail.

im a baseball fan from north wales,

got REALLY into baseball a few months ago watching the world series in a hotel in toronto while i was recover from an allergic reaction to bed bugs.

funny story really

either way im back in the uk and i HATE not being able to see baseball nearly every day, the upside is there aren't many bed bugs over here

still haven;t totally picked a team, but i love juan uriba...and having that as my first major enjoyment i guess i would favour the giants right now. though i know im more excited to see the phillies start five

anyway my order (was placed last night) has moved to processing and since its afternoon in toronto im hoping it changes to shipped by 11pm tonight

oh and 5-7 is maybe a safe guess, but in my experience with VG+ its usually 4 days after they ship, indeed it was once 3 days (not counting weekend of course.)
