Usually it's around a week for standard shipping...depends upon customs and the Royal Mail.

My first day of MLB 12 "spring training" was pretty frustrating. I played my first 2 exhibition games with the Rays on Hall of Fame with the new pulse pitching. I struggled with hitting, which I always do until I get used to the slightly different timing for a new version.

Main problem was pitching. In both games I pitched OK for 8 of the 9 innings but there was an inning in the middle where I just got shelled. First time it was due to struggling with the new pitching method. Second time I thought I did OK but still managed to give up 6 runs in the 4th even though I was locating my pitches.

For my final game I changed to All Star difficulty and old fashioned button pitching. Same old same old. David Price was painting the corners in the 5th inning with plenty of stamina and confidence but still got hit all over the place. It felt as if, despite anything I did, the CPU was just deciding that it was going to show me who was boss

The Rays are on MLB.TV tonight so I won't get much game time but hopefully things will be better tonight.

They don't..we've all imported it...the only way you can get it in Europe is via someone that has imported it.

Going on real life, the best, unhittable pitches are the ones that travel THROUGH the zone and usually trail off and out by the plate. Sure a good umpire will call a ball, but even the best batter will proably swing if he has been set up enough.

I truly hope this translates into the game, and that the AI can be set up like this. If not then the game just isn't realistic. No real pitcher wants to throw pitches into the zone, even the corners EVERY TIME. that doesn't make sense in the long run of the game, even if you do get 4-5 great innings, you are training the batter to feel comfortable with all of the areas of the zone and in the end, no matter what, they will be able to hit you.

I would hope the AI would be more suspect to swinging for ones that go through and out of the zone, the truly unhittable pitches. Those are the perfect ones. and if the AI can see it every time and will never swing at it, then the game will be a letdown for me. but we shall see. (that or sliders adjustments will help)

Sorry if im sound negative, I'm not expecting it to fail, this is just the bare minimum im looking for on the pitching side of things .and im hopefuly that this will be the case.

Delighted to say I got my copy from a UK seller on Ebay this morning. Managed to get in one quick game as the Yankees at Giants and it's fair to say i'm not the best hitter as Lincecum struck me out 13 times in 8 innings, ouch! Wilson joined in on the strikeout fun in the 9th adding another couple as I lost 2-1.

I play on All Star as i'm pretty average, used Pulse Pitching which felt good for the most part as CC dominated allowing just 1 hit through 7 innings, I lost due to a Russell Martin error when on a routine play at First I managed to fire the ball into right field!

I used Zone Analog hitting and had a bit of a nightmare with my timing while trying to move the left stick at the same time but did manage 6 hits at least, I think i'll have to go back to Timing only for a while though.

Overall, had great fun and can't wait to get in another couple of games tonight. Hopefully everyone still waiting for their copy gets it soon.

After the disaster that was VG+ standard shipping last year, this feels extra good.

Same here but i only bought the other day.... usually all the games i buy on pa they take always 2/3 days to ship, and to arrive my country, portugal, takes always 2 sometimes 3 weeks, but i never got any problem with games so the waiting is not that bad

In your situation it sucks that a person that bought the game in february dont have any copy shiped.

my copy has just come from VG+ with standard delivery, cant wait to get it installed havent bought it since 09 (couldnt afford last 2 years) which i was still playing yesterday.

Mine has not left PA's building yet. I ordered it on Feb 29. Kinda frustrating to read other guys who odered it at PA got their copy already.

Have tho, guess I have to wait another 10-14 days until my copy arrives in Germany

Another no go today. I have had to come up with about 10 excuses to keep checking with the dept that collects delivers.

For those that ordered with Planet Axel did anyones ship on the morning of March 1? I'm thinking mine was a day or two late shipping and I will have it tomorrow. Shame though as I can't play tomorrow.

Same here. Mine hasn't been dispatched, though I only ordered on 4th March. I'm guessing they will dispatch today.
