OS isn’t going anywhere

The second part of you're signature had quite a different meaning pre-May first,
but now with New OS, it takes on a whole new meaning, and it's the best, most appropriate signature in all of OS in my opinion.

Just curious, are the people who are saying it's slow on a desktop or mobile? I mostly visit on my desktop and the new forum is much faster for me. The old one would have so many adds and other pop ups it would really slow down my (very non powerful) computer. I've had no problems at all with the new one.

I'm on a Windows 11 desktop, it's not slow for me at all, and I have Pie Ad Blocker which is very good, so i never had problems with pop ups or ads on this or old version, that being said, I still prefer the old Operation Sports forums

Where’s now the option to change page background color ? Before we had the option to turn background white at the bottom left.

Few days ago it went back to black and just can’t find where to change it back.

I think I'll enjoy it more once I figure out how to use it. I've been coming here almost 20 years and I'm 37 now so "new" is a hard concept for me to grasp sometimes. Change scares me lol. Overall it's sped up and usable again for me, which is nice. I felt so lost for about 2 weeks, not being able to come in and check the MLB forums which was a daily ritual. Still struggling to attach photos from my PS5 without it throwing a huge attachment tag at the bottom of my post.

I wish OS would have kept the previous Most Users Online Ever record instead of rebooting it the little bitty amount that's the new high so far in the New OS.
The record was just broken last year, after the previous record had stood for around ten years. I figure it was sebroken last year because of CFB25. I would be surprised if CFB26 helps beats last years OS Most Users Online Ever record but I guess its a safe bet it'll help OS beat the record set earlier this month.

I'm getting use to it and liking it now, only thing that's not working for me is how to get an avatar/profile pic. I click my name, go to all settings there is, hover over the default pic, and there is no edit option anywhere for changing in it.

The dark theme, I hate. I feel like I'm losing my sight. First place where white is a 1000 times better.

I used to check in here a few times a day but it wouldn't load for me for multiple weeks so it fell out of my routine. I popped back once last week because I was curious if it was working again. But it's kind of lost it's luster for me as I haven't been checking in normally anymore.

I can’t put my finger on it but for lack of a better description it feels like the board lost it’s identity.

It just looks and feels so sterile.

I can’t explain it. It’s just not feeling right.
