I’m not sure that has anything to do with the differing experiences but I’ve played with the same settings and default sliders since day one and I have not experienced any changes to the CPU offense or my pitching efficiency from then to now

i started and restarted a few franchises over the journey (waiting for patches and roster updates etc) and i feel like the patch where they changed the PCI and said on goat only, with the massive attributes updates for over 300 players. ever since that update i'm averaging 14 or SO's per game with pitchers with like 49, 55 and 67 K's attributes. it's been weird.

The PCI change on GOAT difficulty was increasing the size of the PCI, so if that were to be true for the CPU teams as well, then it would be odd that would be the culprit of the some seeing CPU hitting production declining and user pitching strikeouts increasing.

I wouldn't know the impact of the player attribute updates on gameplay since those updates don't have an effect on existing franchises.

Have you tried starting a franchise with just the base rosters (release day rosters) to see if your experience is still higher strikeouts and poor cpu offensive production?
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(
