    All text games.
I don't think it was a baseball game that won the decision....I think it was hockey or soccer.

In EA's case...it's not a text based game.
That's why I said I was curious as to how OOTP is going to handle it when they start using graphics.

No. EA got in trouble because they were using a player's 'likeness'. The courts have ruled that names are basically free domain so text-based games are able to use player names in their rosters. The Show can't do this because they are giving an actual visual representation of that player and the courts have ruled that a person owns that visual representation.

My guess is they will sign some kind of a pro rated agreement with the mlbpa based upon number of copies sold. I doubt they will threaten mlbts because their development team is tiny in comparison but if they could come up with graphics as good as the show their sales would grow exponentially.

Thanks! What's the difference between that and zone/zone+analog?

Zone, you have the PCI to move around the strike zone in order to hit the ball. With Zone Analog, you have the zone aspect, but then also the analog aspect. Not only do you have to worry about moving the PCI around the strike zone to hit the ball, but you also have to move the analog stick back at the pitchers delivery, but then push it forward to swing all at the same time. (IMO, the hardest hitting option there is)

I would recommend zone, then graduate to zone+analog, it's a natural progression. I would also say it will probably take a while though. But if you are obsessed with zone+analog like I was, you'll get there.

I know you guys said there is no MiLB players asscoiation to license with but I wish it was possible to at least have each organization's top 10 prospects in the game. That would at least give the minor leagues a little depth and make it seem a little more realistic during franchise mode if you had a injury at the MLB level or someone struggling that you could call up one of top prospects.

That's what the roster vault is for.

Has it been said if we will have correct schedules this year?

I don't want to use year to year saves if schedules aren't correct.

? Aren't schedules correct every year? I think people would notice if they were not.

It depends on what you mean by "correct"? If you mean that the times are right, I would hope so (other than the opening series in Australia; I doubt that will be right in game). If you're talking about future years, then I doubt it because those schedules aren't made years in advance.

I wandered what we are in store this coming MLB The Show Monday's. We only have two Monday's left before lift off.

Hey guys, I'm new to the franchise. Just wondering what the roster vault is, or if there is a roster share feature built into the game such as the one found in NBA 2K. It would increase my interest greatly to know that I could have more accurate minor league rosters for franchise mode.

I understand that but what I'm talking about is actual pictures and game scanned faces like the regular mlb guys. Not just cyberfaces and pictures

                                They could do that.

All it would require was for them to negotiate and agree upon separate contracts with only 300 individual MiLB players.

Then once they reach the majors, those contracts get void and they fall under the MLBPA agreement.

Sounds like a lot of work for not a whole lot of payoff.
