I took a little overtime detail working on "Super Bowl Avenue"()...and spent the entire day walking through everything.
I definitely would have seen something Show related.
There was nothing there.

Used to love when the super bowl was in SD for all that fun stuff. Rake up that easy OT though. I wasn't hired yet when the last super bowl was here so I missed out...

With Broadway shut down.....they have to have guys on either side(East/West) of Broadway.....getting the calls...and checking on them to see if they require a full assignment to be dispatched......since it's a chore to get rigs even close to the scene...let alone across Broadway(not happening)
First time I've seen that.(even working the Marathon)

No way mlb 14 the show trailer is a super bowl commercial. I mean don't get me wrong that would be awesome I would love it. My misery would be over. Those commercials are so expensive. I don't see them having that kind of scratch

Personally I think it would be dumb to do anything during the Super Bowl and would agree 100% with waiting until after it's over to do anything.

Because they know people will be watching.

There will be a lot of people watching but that does not mean that is their target audience or the time to strike.

I think that they will release the PS3 version around the same time they always do and the 4 version will be released a month or so after that. Russell said that the stadiums had to be drawn from scratch for the NG version. There is no reason to hold up CG version though.

People also watch the Dr. Phil show, at 4 million for a 30 second spot during a football game it would be a waste of money.


They aren't going to attract any NEW buyers with a commercial during the Super Bowl.

But my original point is that Knight is talking about "Super Bowl avenue" and all this stuff... I'm confused? What Super Bowl related thing is occurring in Manhattan?

I'm not sure if you are being facetious.....but you haven't seen that they closed a 13 block stretch around Times Square this week?
