The game is going to be released. It's going to be good.

Whatever info released is going to have no impact on when or if I buy it.

Well, I think MOST of us want info just because we are excited about the new PS4 game, and want a little taste of how great it is going to be. Just something to help us bide the time until release. It really doesn't have anything to do with seeing if I will buy it or not (at least for me anyway).

I think some of you guys are missing the point of our excitement, a few guys come on here and piss and moan, and soon we are all labeled as one of "them". I am just truly excited about the game, and would like a little peak, thats all

For me, no screenshots or video doesn't bother me... but that's only because I'm visually impaired! hahahaha! It's funny, I can see well enough to play video games, but I can't enjoy the visuals like you Guys. I am big on sound though, so I still love gameplay videos!

Aguero is the hallmark for how great the Show (& baseball in general) is.
You can be visually impaired but the game can still transcend.

When did wanting information become a bad thing? I'm shocked by how much blind faith some of you have, I know the devs go out of their way to talk to us here and the series has an impeccable track record, but if this were anyone else we would be tearing them to shreds. Now I'm not saying we should be up in arms, far from it since they have earned our respect, but come on kehlis, I can't believe you're trying to downplay the lack of info so far, to the point where you ask why some of us want more information on a product we are planning to purchase. I personally don't have any problem with the lack of info but I can totally understand why others do.

I'm torn into this year. I usually love to pass away January & February reading about the upcoming game but this year has had a decidedly different feel. Except for the Great Generated (Quick) Count Thread, I haven't seen much & I might just be blown away by the Show like never before because I don't really know everything there is to know about Show 14. & I think that's going to result in enjoying the game even more by learning most of it first hand, without being over-saturated by it beforehand.

You are so right, as I say about baseball, "baseball is the only game you can see on radio." Baseball is also the one video game where I can be just as good, or even better than, a fully sighted person, simply because it's not like other games where a ton of character movement is needed.

Video game releases usually follow the same pattern - announcement 6-12 months in advance, 2-4 month lull, then a steady stream of media til release 2 months out. if there is a signifcant media blackout, it usually means something is not going according to schedule, a recent example would be driveclub.

As far as what i want, i want to know about any potential changes to anything roster related. I plan on working on OSFM and doing pitch edits, and the sooner I can start the process for those the better.

So you want info to confirm there is no problem with the game? I think it's widely assumed that the ps4 version could come out late and that wouldn't be a surprise. Are you concerned about the ps3 version?




I know you work on OSFM and you've always done a spectacular job so I'm genuinely curious.

What announcement could they make that would change the way you prepare for your edits?
