yeah but everyone is not all on Min wage $40 more for a game then the rest of the world is a joke and it has nothing to do with Minimum wave, sure we don't do tips here. look at interest rates and rent and housing costs compared to the US. we are completely ripped off in this country

Come on people. don't start saying in sports forum that is regularly looked at by people who work for a video game company that you'd be willing to pay $40 MORE just to get the game earlier. That will only lead to a world where games are released digitally like a week in advance for like and extra $20 because they know people will pay it. $80 for a video game is not something I ever want to see.

But if you're willing to wait out the week and get the game at normal price, why would you care if it were $80 digitally to get it early?

Hypothetically, it would mean more profit for the company which could mean a better product the following years, so in a way, you'd actually be benefiting.

You wouldn't have to buy it a week earlier though. If customers are willing to shell out the extra cash early, then that's on them. If they aren't willing to pay more, then they wait until release when the price would drop. All hypothetically speaking, of course.

I wouldn't do it. I don't like digital downloads. Got a digital version of NBA 2k13 and the game was really glitchy. Won't do it again. I like owning the physical forms of things (books, games, etc). Add that to the $100 price tag.
