For sure Quiet, it wasn't for everyone and it did slow down the game a bit, 2k kind of over did it by having you do all kinds of insane patterns. But had its reward points to it much like the shows zone analog "very hard to use but very rewarding at the same time." The one thing i liked about 2k's mlb games is they adopted analog at the start of the 360 and the ps3 cycle and that to me was a very welcome change, I'm 32 and have been playing baseball games since the Commodore 64 and button control schemes felt so dated and stale over the years, analog controls was game changer for me so I'm all in any new ways to play. However, if they were to change the analog control i would want to be a simpler verison of it, just give it a feel as if you were putting some spin on the ball.

Re: PS4 Discussion (MLB The Show 14)
Me too, which is actually just like 2k's first analog control scheme just down and up. It was a year or two they got all kinds of crazy. But i got lucky because the first year i was able to play the show they just put in analog controls mlb 11 i believe.Comment

Re: PS4 Discussion (MLB The Show 14)
This may be a very, very, very minor detail for the next-gen version, but with the power of the PS4 and all of the room it has to store memory and whatnot...will we see players wearing their team uniforms in edit player? It has always been the generic MLB The Show uniforms and I was told it was due to the space on the PS3 (or lack thereof). Again, very small detail that would be cool if it made it in, but I assume not. Can anyone confirm or deny this? Thanks.Comment

Re: PS4 Discussion (MLB The Show 14)
I must say, these new vids we just saw (in other threads) are absolutely amazing. But I do have only one request that'll make me good to go. If Russell can get on here in the next couple weeks or whatever it is when the PS4 version goes gold, and confirm that to us when it happens, then I'll be a happy camper.Comment

Re: PS4 Discussion (MLB The Show 14)
Watching the Yankee game right now, just had a thought. I wonder if SCEA has it where WEEKDAY Matinee games (1 or 2pm start) has less people in the crowd (because they're at work or whatevs).Comment
