AI is always worked on.

Runtime optimization is always worked on.

Testing, testing, testing... always something else that gets caught here and there.

They need deadlines for those things, though. They can't afford to bring themselves backwards if there is something that they change for the worse.

What about graphics?

Do you think what we've seen so far is about what we're going to get come May? I'm more specifically talking about player models and jerseys.

I'm not a developer, much less one for the company. Anything I say would be pure speculation.

This late in the game though, you aren't going to see new player models. If they brought them over from the PS3 version (the skeletal body, that is), that's what we'll see. It might be better disguised as something else with prettier textures and perhaps even animated cloth physics, but I think what we'll see is what we'll get.

Just keep in mind these photos themselves might be a bit older, and they already have something else in store for us later. Plus, they haven't shown us any night-related lighting, or just the new lighting system (for daytime progression and such) in general.

I don't really think we've seen that much yet, that's all I'm saying. The fact that we haven't seen any video is even more important. I still feel there are things to wow us for this year, and even more so for the years to come!

As long as the stadium artists got the renderings in time it should be in. I know I sent Ramone a PM about this months ago so we will see what happens. I hope it's in as I'll be using the Rays in franchise mode this year.

I know they did all 30 stadiums from scratch. I'm wondering if they just ported over the Spring Training and MiLB stadiums to the PS4 or if they actually did those from scratch too.

Before I confirm my preorder I definitely need to see the overall IQ of this game and if the stadiums really do shine as much as they claim. If that all works out then I'm in. A little reserved here....

Probably just ported them over. I think they have bigger fish to fry first time out. I'm not expecting much more than better and more animations slightly upgraded graphics and AI. Anything beyond that is a bonus for me.

I've read many different people say not to expect classic stadiums on the ps4 version and I'm not sure why they wouldn't be on the ps4 version. I understand that the 30 MLB stadiums were built from scratch and I think it's safe to assume that the minor league stadiums will be in the game or why would they have RTTS.

So it seems to me that if only the 30 MLB stadiums were built from scratch then the minor league stadiums would be ported over and if they can be ported over then why can't the classic stadiums be ported over. Now I'll admit I don't know if that is even possible to "port" them over. I've just read that term on many different posts so I'm assuming it's possible.

Plus I've read on multiple occassions that both the ps3 and ps4 versions will have the same features. Are classic stadiums not considered features?

If it's a money thing then ok I get it.

Here's to hoping tomorrows fact sheet will answer some of these questions.

I don't think the stadiums are what they mean by feature parity. What they mean by features being the same would be RRTS,Franchise,Online Franchise modes,player editing etc............. are on all platforms.

I expect the minor league stadiums are being rebuilt from scratch too I also do not expect as many minor league stadiums in this year as last year But I have been wrong before and I will be wrong again, at some point

My guess.....simply porting over might not be an option....with the lighting different on the4.....it might now "work" that way...

I was thinking the same thing, but then I start to get concerned about RTTS, or whatever games that should be played at smaller venues that aren't major league ballparks. I hope there will still be something for that crowd (not the virtual crowd heh, the people who play those modes).
