Ramone went in the thread and said it was on the list for next year, but did guarantee it would be in.

Unless thats an updated quote I'm pretty sure its on the list but not guaranteed for next year.

I've read many different people say not to expect classic stadiums on the ps4 version and I'm not sure why they wouldn't be on the ps4 version. I understand that the 30 MLB stadiums were built from scratch and I think it's safe to assume that the minor league stadiums will be in the game or why would they have RTTS.

So it seems to me that if only the 30 MLB stadiums were built from scratch then the minor league stadiums would be ported over and if they can be ported over then why can't the classic stadiums be ported over. Now I'll admit I don't know if that is even possible to "port" them over. I've just read that term on many different posts so I'm assuming it's possible.

Plus I've read on multiple occassions that both the ps3 and ps4 versions will have the same features. Are classic stadiums not considered features?

If it's a money thing then ok I get it.

Here's to hoping tomorrows fact sheet will answer some of these questions.

As far as classic stadiums go that might even be a licensing issue being that the its a new system.Its my understanding that Ebbetts Field for instance is pretty much hands off as far as reproducing a replica of this even in photos. This might hold true for a lot of the ballparks of yesteryear. MLB or the teams may not hold rights to these entities.After the EA college football fiasco development teams got to play it safe. Food for thought.

I think it's silly we're talking about things for 15 when 14 hasn't even launched yet. Let the guys focus on one game at a time. it's confirmed NOT in 14. leave it at that.

Absolutely 100% agree. It's the only thing that bugged me to no end in this game. The wall, grass, and dirt colors just seemed so bland and almost washed out. The "cool tone" description you used fits very well. It did get better as time went on but not enough IMO. A great example of the dullness of the colors is to play a game at US Cellular. To me that stadium was a bore to play in because none of the colors and lighting popped out.

The Fenway Park screen shot is such a huge relief for me because it now seems we will have more true looking wall and field colors. I know some people say the Fenway wall is off but honestly it's a ton better than what the PS3 has now. IMO though it looks pretty spot on. If the colors are fixed for PS4, I think this problem could just be that the lighting and color scheme on PS4 is just that much better. I don't know anything about technicalities of game development but I would think the developers would have had better resembling colors on the ps3 version if they could. They wouldn't just all of a sudden decide to fix or change it.

I was playing the Show 13 on my Panny Plasma and started messing around with the different picture modes on the tv , and grass colors changed from a custom setting to vivid to standard,,5 in all. Not saying that the colors are right but changing the color or tint , contrast , warm vs. cool , etc. on your set might get you a little closer to the actual visuals your looking for.

even so.. there's a lot of talk about things that have been confirmed OUT for 14. Let's just let the guys worry about 14 and get it out the door first, before we keep with the questions regarding (MAYBE) 15.

Hopes:

That Busch Stadium looks fantastic.

That they have found a realistic shade to the brick behind home plate.

Red AND green seats.

BallPark Village makes its appearance beyond the LF wall.

A better approach to replicate the legends on the left field wall.

An option the have the Arch mowed into the outfield grass.

Very good call. I've done this before but just never found the right combination and I hate fiddling around with it. I didn't try that hard though so really that's on me. I have a Samsung Plasma so you'd think I should be able to find something with all the options available. I haven't played The Show in a while since getting a PS4 but maybe I'll mess around with it.

I hope there are guys protecting the bullpens that are in foul territory.

In fact I will be kind of surprised if there aren't, and even a bit disappointed.

It's a cool detail that shouldn't be that hard to add on this new system.

Retractable roofs is the main thing

Also hopefully outside shots of the stadium before games too.

I would love to have retractable roofs in the game since my team is the Jays and the dome is closed most of April and sometimes in May if the weather is to cold. I hate it when players are wearing sweaters when the roof should be closed and not open.

IMO....the biggest factor in what we get in terms of anything above and beyond the 30 MLB stadiums is dev time.
