That would be cool to see. I'm not sure if it was Madden or NCAA, but I know a few years ago they had a Weather Channel feature where you could either pick random weather or pick the current weather in which ever city you were playing in. I wouldn't mind seeing this in The Show and I think it would be a good compromise if they couldn't get weather patterns in.

The live weather channel thing is a nice touch, the only problem is, in games like madden and fifa where they play in all kinds of weather, it works... baseballs not played in all kinds of weather, so if it's a downpour where your playing, it doesn't make sense to play (even if it's a game and it can handle it) lol

lol I see your point, but I'm sure if it was extreme conditions(rain or snow) they could just have it to where it's either lightly raining or snowing. Not every baseball game is played under a sunny, cloudless sky.

I would love dynamic weather where a game starts out with overcast and (for example) in the 3th inning the sky clears up and the sun starts getting through.

It would be awesome and add to fatigue and realism of the game because rainouts almost happen every single day!! the problem is I read a while ago that it was a memory issue in the game to get it to work correct, because it has to store into the memory of when a double header should be re scheduled, not sure if that is capable of happening unless it's a fixed rainout each year with let's say 10 possible schedules and you randomly start a franchise with 1 out of the 10 schedules each time. if you get what I mean


for example schedule 1 has 200 rainouts and the game has them coded them in for the days it happens
schedule 2 would have say 300 rainouts
etc etc


and when you start a franchise you would randomly have 1 of the 10 programmed coded rainouts in the game of 10 possible outcomes

With the weather, I just hope they have rainouts because they are a part of the game. Maybe have the option to turn weather off so for those who don't want it won't get it.

I agree, even MLB 2K7 had rainouts! Hopefully we'll find out today in the full fact sheet.

Rain outs and delays would be cool but I will be fine with improved weather. Would be great to have games where it starts out overcast and "dry" and as the game progresses the rain starts to fall. Even varying the intensity as the game goes on and stopping at some point in the game.

I can't believe The Show isn't going to have rainouts this year. MLB 2k7 had them. It was so cool - you'd get halfway through a game and it would start raining and the game would be called. That was sweet!
