Well if you're going to have a cutscene with the tarp on the field then you have to have a cutscene of the players coming out and sliding on it like a bunch of 10 year olds

You think it would be cool to invest a precious 90 minutes into playing a game, only for the CPU to go "LOL you just wasted all that time because rainout" and then you have to play that game all over again?

No thanks. Absolutely not.

Also dont forget about generated counts!

I would love to have rain shortened games and pre-game rain delays/postponements
I think it'd be cool to have the ability to "negotiate" when the rescheduled game would be played. I feel like somebody has to do that right? ha

There's an interesting thought. maybe a day game scheduled for 1 can start at 4 and the sky and lighting transitions can reflect that. OR a game scheduled for a 4 pm start now starts under the lights to begin with.

It would suck a little if there is a rain-out and your 2-HR game gets washed out. But realistic as hell, it would be worth it.

I remember playing 2k7 baseball and that game had rain delays that either resumed play after a cutscene of the field (while the commentators answered some fake trivia questions) or PPD the game due to rain. I only saw this happen before the 5th inning and never saw rain shortened games.

I personally thought it was implemented well tho and I never felt like I wasted time playing. Felt like when watching a real game only for it to be cancelled. If the option was allowed I'd use it, but that's me.

All I want from weather is accurate weather by location & time of year. Anaheim is never cold & rarely drops below 55 during baseball season. If we're not getting that anytime soon, then at least give me the option to remove long sleeves from all players. <70 for pitchers & <60 for fielders is dumb. Many pitchers IRL will pitch in short sleeves in mid 40 games.
